-cracks fingers-
aight lets take a shot at some of that IC lore
so, Rubber Trees: Shack-in-a-Box- MK II
Due to the poor quality of the material that was put into making the shacks-in-a-box, breakage was common and frequent repairs were needed.
So a new model of the Scrap Shack was devised, this one had built in storage tanks for water, which was used to create an adhesive liquid-rubber that was great for re-attatching fallen panels or patching holes in the metal sheeting. also, these new shacks were more compact than their predicessors.
Needless to say, these newer models were no better at resisting radiation, so their residents, despite paying the exorbitant cost for the MK II, eventually mutated into Fallen.
it is still common to find these scattered throughout the wastes, but due to lack of maintenance, the adhesive storage tanks began to leak, and by inserting a pipe or tube into one of the leaky tanks, one can extract the rubbery adhesive for use in other things
Hey guys, I was just wondering if someone could do mod support for Biomes O' Plenty? I'm not good at texture editing. Thanks!
Here's the link for the thread: http://www.minecraft...que-biomes-ssp/
dear god that would be a lot of biomes to texture/loreify
and some of them dont really fit in like the orchards and pretty happy green areas

while it would it be nice to support this mod, it will create a lot of problems
1. since the water, grass and leaves textures still don't change colour for their respective biome all the biomes would all have the same textures, thus making them really difficult to tell apart (that's just me since the last "last days" texture pack I used didn't have different coloured grass etc,)
2. lore for each of these biomes would be a massive pain in the ass, some of the biomes would be infallible to apply lore to (the redwood forest has enormous trees, so that means that the "Lost" made "Scrap Shack Sky Scrapers" these are meant to be radioactive mutants not architects) and most of the biomes would end having similar lore to each other
3. I forgot to mention that there is quite a lot of biomes that we have to deal with
overall it would be pretty cool, but we will run into many problems regarding textures and lore

Oh ok. Thanks for the feedback guys. I see the challenges and problems now. By the way, I have posted Abandoned Mineshaft lore on Page 95.
I have lore for abandoned mineshafts here! Feedback is encouraged!
HIVEs. (Abandoned Mineshafts).
These sprawling complexes were created by OI to protect and house citizens when The Event had just been set in motion. B-Class Hall Monitors were used to navigate the thin corridors and enforce curfew. However, the B-Class HMs behaved aggressively after The Event
--SNIP--
not bad but there are few holes in your abandoned mineshaft lore, especially in regards to how the B-Class Hall Monitors behave and since the name "HIVES" is already being used for the underground caverns which are called known as the H.I.V.E so that makes it a yo dawg moment and its best not to mention about how the bandits and huggatrons cooperate together because they are hate each other in the lore but its the game makes all mobs not attack each other
but tell you what I'll write something about the mineshafts and then we can piece together our ideas

Ok so the lore for the end says the stronghold was an illegal H.I.V.E. but I was thinking for it to be more of an OI headquarters. Its just hard for me to work with things I don't understand. The stronghold is a bit too... sophisticated to be illegal.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
I own the server for this AWESOME Texture pack. HECK YAS!

The HIVE could be work labs for Dr Croco-what-his-face to experiment on poor souls.
-Pyramid (Drilling operation to store hazmat deep underground. Already discussed in the thread)
-Jungle Temple (trapped and camoflaged Survivor/Bandit hideout)
-Beacon (Satellite Dish applying effects via ultrasonic waves. Already discussed in the thread)
-Fortress (Moonlab. Use Moonshroom brewing lore)

Are the HIVES the cave systems? Please clarify. Thanks!
I really love this pack. I hope you add more random mob support.
For fun I made myself blue and green spiders, I think they look really good and would really like to see something like this in the official pack.

First try at the witherboss lore I haven't had much time for it due to school but tell me what you think and what should be fixed a name for the witherboss would also be nice.
Wither
Only a few days before the event a new chemical weapon was invented, the wither was designed to slow down cell regeneration instead of just causing harm.
Using the new chemical O.I. created a new drone created for combat the official name was (name pending), the (name pending) was created with parts from old robots due to lack of funding on the project, the old parts used were many malfunctioning so the (name pending) did not go by protocol and dispose only of hostile elements but also every other living thing other than plants.
During the test run it destroyed the lab and most of the workers there, the project was discontinued.
A few critique points:
The wither effect can also be applied to robots therefore it needs to affect something different but the cell regeneration. Also a slowed cell regeneration wouldn't be noticeable for quiet a long time (at least not until the wither fight is already over). Also I don't like the lack of funding, OI pretty much owned the world before the Event. I'd prefer a defective processor core sabotaged by one of Dr Crocopolous minions or something like that.
Thanks will look into that during the weekend or possibly sometime tomorrow.

Ok thanks guys. Anything else that needs lore?
-cept i'ma try to do most of the IC lore-
Ok. Could I do some equivalent exchange lore?
The HIVE could be work labs for Dr Croco-what-his-face to experiment on poor souls.
I'll do the jungle temple lore if that's ok.

Mainly just using these for map making purposes.
If Lord could add them to the alts that would be nice
