I've been following this pack since History picked it up the first time, and I'm honestly impressed by how far it has come. You all deserve a pat on the back.
I figure I should give something back by helping out, if that's alright. I can critique textures, maybe write some lore, or anything anybody needs help with, I'd be glad to do.
Also: Would it be horrible of me to ask where this spiffy sky texture came from?

that would just be something I shopped into the picture as I thought the current sky looked poor in comparison to the awesome structures, however I believe that it is now possible to create a custom skybox that can be used by mcpatcher so we can get an awesome night and day skybox texture. mcpatcher tutorials
I don't know how to do it myself but glimmar uses it in his steampunk texture pack and it looks great.
Personally I think you shouldn't use any copyrighted material and rather use the custom sounds
If anything we should probably use this site for getting sounds as they're all creative commons licensed sounds. and there's a huge library to pick from

You believe correctly! It is indeed possible to create custom skyboxes as MCpatcher supports it now.
Do you think we could get a status update from Derek or somebody else who has a view of the bigger picture?
I've been holding off on all the new features in anticipation of the latest version, because playing Minecraft without Last Days just doesn't feel right to me.
the B-Class Hall Monitor is the successor to the common A-Class Hall Monitor (spider)
development of the B-Class Hall Monitor began "Before the Event" when numerous complaints from security officers about how A-Class Hall Monitors bulky size rendered them unable to fit in certain areas throughout the Cocoons especially vents in the walls, the engineers finally came up with a solution to the problem, they reduced the size of the A-Class Hall Monitor to a smaller size and named it the B-Class Hall Monitors, these Hall Monitors were now capable of fitting through tight spaces and also cut production costs by 45%, unfortunately this made Hall Monitors less intimidating to residents in the Cocoons due to their small size so the engineers threw in a few extra features to the B-Class Hall Monitor,
first is an inbuilt Barbed Wire Reel in the abdomen part of the Hall Monitor to allow it to lay down barbed wire in corridors to act like a barricade/road block to slow down those disobeying curfew,
second is an injector on the Hall Monitor's head this needle/syringe is loaded with "Corrosive Poison" and the B-Class Hall Monitor was not afraid to use it when it pounces on rule breakers, while the poison was capable of killing humans it was used as a way to subdue curfew breakers for the security officers the poison was also very effective way of intimidation against people who broke curfew
because of these two new additions to the B-Class Hall Monitor, they became a force to be reckoned with amongst the residents in the Cocoons and curfew breaking went down by 40% with the introduction of these new Hall Monitors
"After the Event" B-Class Hall Monitors still lurk in the Cocoons but are highly uncommon when compared to their more common predecessors and can be nasty surprise for any unwary scavenger.
I have a idea for the wither boss lore mind if I take that one or is some one else doing that?
you don't really need much permission to do the lore, if you notice two posts above this one you'll see what I wrote about the cave spider and that only took me like 5 minutes to create, so vomit out your idea and we will have a look at it, try your best to get the lore to match the textures as well

I think kietram is already working on that. Still you can write something and we'll have a look which parts we are going to use. Please note that some hints towards the Strongholds were already made in the biomes section (The End) and the Misc section (Enderchest) of the lore thread. You should tie those into your work

Ok. Could I create lore for the Jungle temples then?
I have lore for abandoned mineshafts here! Feedback is encouraged!
HIVEs. (Abandoned Mineshafts).
These sprawling complexes were created by OI to protect and house citizens when The Event had just been set in motion. B-Class Hall Monitors were used to navigate the thin corridors and enforce curfew. However, the B-Class HMs behaved aggressively after The Event and slaughtered all inhabitants of the HIVEs. The B-Class HMs created dens in certain parts of the HIVEs as the conditions in that certain place was perfect for the robots. The chests that are dotted around the HIVEs contain some meagre possessions of the inhabitants that the B-Class HMs weren’t able to scavenge and destroy or use for their own benefit. However, some valuable items can be found in the chest such as uranium rods. Bandits have also seized control of the HIVEs and co-exist with Huggatrons, Lost and the other monstrosities that thrive in darkness.
sure as long is it's ok with Comply_cat
Personally i think you should take the (Please dont kill me) roach sounds from fallout 3.

Do we need Wither lore, or does somebody have that under control?
True. Maybe record a roach doing roach things.
Wait, we'll get suid by apple for doing that.

Ok. Thanks for that! I think I'll do the Lore on Abandoned Mineshafts if that's ok with Comply_cat_Ed.

The lore is posted in the texturepack thread due to this thread being visited more often by people.
