okay I had a look inside the tekkit file and there was a resource file, I then looked in there and it appears that only the industrial craft alarms and matmosphere sounds can be changed
Industrialcraft has two folders with textures inside.
For the GUIs, you want to make a folder called "ic2", and another inside of that called "sprites". All IC2 textures except worn armor textures go inside of the sprites folder. (Worn armor textures go into their own armor > ic2 directory)
Once you've got them foldered correctly, you just place the "ic2" folder into the main LAST DAYS texture pack, and it'll retexture the mod from there. No need to modify the actual mod's files at all.
Also, you're forgetting the end-spoiler for "Misc." in the OP.
Sorry I fell of the face of the internet for a while, school happened so expect texture development to be going slower.

what I'm thinking about doing is getting the single player command mod and just try to copy
the map on the before map .... can i do that? like copy something and goto a different world and paste? with SPCs that is?

the wither skeletons could easily be large robots that were built to construct the "nether fortresses" on the moon and they happen to be carrying lead pipes
Im thinking of changing it to a satellite reciver that transmits power from solar reflectors and then changes the frequency of the radiation to affect living tissue, however it can only use a receiver dish that is made out of certain materials. if the dish is larger it can receive more energy from the satellites. Using materials that have high radiation absorbing properties such as depleted uranium, gold, iron and downed satilites will increase the ability to recive radiation as well.
That's a great idea. So we've got a satellite uplink that recieves radiation signals from space and somehow the unobtanium empowers humans with clean genes (but not the Masked) through ultrasonic resonance cascade-thingies.
Different element name please, unobtanium is soooo unoriginal.
