Edit: What do we know about zombified villagers and beacon blocks? What kind of textures are required?
I think the ripped gas mask + torn clothes for the Masked is a good idea.
Since we don't know how the beacon block WIP is crafted, we can't really decide what the gui and block should be. Thus far ALIENS! are the only explanation that makes sense to me, but I don't like it.
Any suggestions?

I came up with an idea for the beacon shortly after it was introduced.
Im thinking of changing it to a satellite reciver that transmits power from solar reflectors and then changes the frequency of the radiation to affect living tissue, however it can only use a receiver dish that is made out of certain materials. if the dish is larger it can receive more energy from the satellites. Using materials that have high radiation absorbing properties such as depleted uranium, gold, iron and downed satilites will increase the ability to recive radiation as well.

i think the guy who did the sound mod told me, that you can have the sound pack IN the texture pack, and it will detect it and use it all in one go....
once that has been tested I'll upload the upgraded sound pack to mediafire or something
