My question is: how did you get the clock texture to work? I've been trying to update my texture pack's items and I can't get the clock to work. Granted, in your pack, there's no moon or sun graphic, but at least the clock itself changed. I can't get it to change in mine.
It works in my pack. I would suggest trying to use the customizer. There is a sun and moon textures as well. okay im going to have to make an attempt at doing this because although I can appreciate the effort put into them, it would be really difficult to tell the difference between the medium voltage energy storages and the high voltage ones along with being nigh impossible to tell the difference between the transformer and the energy storage at a distance, and when it can mean causing your horrendously expensive contraption to explode from too much voltage because you thought at a glance it was a different transformer/batbox. the same thing goes with the solar arrays because the medium voltage one is too close to the default one.. the wood ones are fine but I do think ill improve them.
Good job on the advanced machines though, you did pretty much exactly what I was going to do.

A quick fix to make the mv solar panel more recognizeable
I also did 2 versions of the block_electric.png
A "classic" version with large plugs that are easy to see
And a normal version with smaller plugs
I might redo them again to have hazard stripes instead of the red stripes on the high voltatge stuff

I have been fooling around with the EE texture today.
Did work on the Energy Collectors and transmutation tablet.
I am going the route of crazy portal technology instead of alchemy, but if you'd prefer alchemy I can try to come up with something.
In my head dark matter and red matter are condensed portal energy, thus the green and blue colouring. Would it be preferable to keep dark matter some nebulous black stuff and red matter red.

pretty good, I like the idea of condensed portal energy, it seems to be a little more thought out than "magic *snort* *snort*" and it still leaves "aliens" for thaumcraft whenever we get around to it. I belive that the condenser uses a clear lens of some kind instead of an opaque sheet of glass (this goes for the dark and red matter ones too) which shouldnt be too hard to implement with the inner mecics being whatever you want. The sides of the collector would look neat with some small vents on the side or some lights like regular glowstone.

The coloured glass is just recoloured glowstone, but then what should the differentiating top be?
Also there has been a bit of change since that post, mainly the front isn't the normal furnace. It has a panel with toggles and lights.

Well its mostly fine as the top just needs to be made to look like its letting light through on something so possibly the pipes texture with something on top of it. just make the glass pieces of the glowstone textures slightly see through and put some machinery underneath. perhaps you could add a tint to the dark and red matter collectors.

The Gui's look great. There actually are a few more BC textures from the additional pipes mod. (Location: net\minecraft\src\buildcraft\additionalpipes\gui)
I'll look into making that edit for the collectors.

Previews of EE textures:
Energy Condensor, Transmuation Tablet and Alchemical Chest
Energy Collect MK1, MK2 and MK3
Anti-matter Relay MK1, MK2 and MK3 (Squares waves don't get enough love)
writingdesk.png (i decided to go in a different direction with this gui as its for the writing desk and it would be difficult to to see black letters on the green monitor.)
the lore for it:
For years wastelanders have written down their travels and memories but due to severe radiation, hunger and dehydration they have started writing down false memories that have been fabricated or exaggerated. The researchers at Blackwater Academy call it myst syndrome. it can get severe enough that wastelanders incorporate how they obtained certain items and even fabricate imagined worlds. However all of the Imagined worlds have a few similar properties;
1. when you enter a fantasy world you enter a conscious dream state similar to sleepwalking.
2. thoes that wake from a dream state only wake when carrying a "linking book" with them when going into a state with them.
3. the dreamers will aquire items and incorporate them in their dreams.
4. Myst syndrome can only be induced by what dreamers call "age books" or by a linking book that was created in a dream state.
And a small bit of lore for Blackwater City (pictures/map pending)
Blackwater is a medium sized coastal community that grew out of a small scientific hive that had a critical failure on the water filtration systems. There was a rather large polluted but not radioactive river running through a valley a few miles away but too far for the hive dwellers to go to with any efficacy so the created a dam down stream to make a lake that goes up close to the entrance of the hive. This decision was done without a lot of hindsight as it also created a massive lake with relatively clean (radioactivity only) water that attracted a large amount of wastelanders in search of clean water. This sprouted into a thriving community that supported trading with barges and caravans and research via the now somewhat run down and undersupplied hive now renamed Blackwater Academy. Most if not all new technology (mods) coming to the wasteland comes from Blackwater Academy. With their signature machines made of repourposing old tech more than making it from scratch.
Alright I worked on the ender dragon texture a bit today and they are usable in their current state but just be aware that these should not be the default textures, comply and I have something else slightly different planned for the lore. im going to add the finishing touches eventually but until then this can be used as the ender dragon.
Ender.png
ender_eyes.png
shuffle.png
beam.png
body.png and dragon.png
And now for a bit of lore regarding this ugly thing:
This is a Sch-ctelo'teph they are eldritch abominations that inhabit small pocket dimensions outside of this universe. they draw in creatures from other universes to feed on the mental energy and bodies of these spirited away creatures. wastelanders have seen animals get taken because in the blink of an eye creatures can just vanish into thin air. this only seems to affect creatures without high brain function so most wastelanders and the villagers are unaffected. If for some stupid reason you want to fight this creature then your going to need to find an old scientific hive (stronghold) to find an old prototype inter-dimensional portal and activate it.
sorry for the no screenshots but I couldn't exactly find an end portal.
Nice. I'm in a hurry today so I'll probably have to add the lore next week. Could you give me a short description of how that mod works so I might add revisions (if you don't mind me bodging your work). Also didn't you write something about a hat siulator lateley? what mod was that for?
And I totally support the idea of a blackwater city map
Well im pretty sure the mystcraft wiki can explain how the mod works better than I can.
and the hat simualtor thing, that was the buildcraft wrench, I said that because the wrench looks like the engineers wrench from team fortress 2.
I am a little stuck on the Dark Matter and Red Matter furnace textures, because each texture is used multiple times. The sides of the furnaces are also the DM and RM Block and the DM Pedestal.
I would like to field suggestions or something, if I can't come up with something that works I'll edit this post with the current textures, for others to take a shot at it.
Well, I have been lurking around this thread and never really felt a need to comment in a while, but my god that dragon is the most amazing texture I have seen in a very long time. Although I have not seen it in game, for some reason it wont work, but hey, thats minecraft for you. Froman, you have some serious talent. Honestly, the only other person I have seen on your level is Doku, even saying that, I would consider you better. Keep up the great work.

Oh god that Enderdragon texture scares the **** out of me. Keep up the good work though!
I think I have worked out the lids from the alchemical chest and energy condensor.
I also decided on a theme for the covalence dusts, instead of dust they will be repair items. I am thinking of wood glue for low covalence dust, duct tape for medium and a repair kit for high.
The divining rods will be metal detectors of course.

Re-did the Compact Solar Arrays:
Block_electric:
For energy storages: square is input and 3-pronged hole is output.
For Transformer: square is input and double circle is output.
