Well the alchemical chest needs to be less yellow, the vortexes on both of them should be smaller or something else, the diamonds all over them should have a bit of depth to them and the modified ender pearl on the top needs to be less bright. Other than that they look fine.
I went searching for this texture pack again. I still love it and am even more amazed now that a lot of the mods that are bundled into tekkit are being reskinned for it. Good work. When will they be downloadable?
First off, just wanted to pop back in again and 'officially' suggest that the icon for the book with quill and whatever the 'published/finished' book is called be changed to something more along the lines of a data-pad of some sort rather than an actual book... at least in the version available here... because it doesn't really make much sense that the bookshelves are computer servers, yet they're made with mutant-cow leather-bound books.
I actually changed the cow texture to be a cyborg cow so that I could continue to use the old data-pad texture. Might as well share the textures.
This book GUI was made by LordBrigadier shortly after the writable book update was released.
I'm too lazy to put the textures in seperate images, so you will just have to pick the stuff out yourself.
The book is now made from plastic and the back-plate of the cyborg cows. I changed the armor around a little bit too to fit with the recipes. The leather armor texture is now basically the same one as the iron armor texture, and the new iron armor texture is the same one as the chainmail texture (or maybe it was the original diamond armor texture, I don't really remember), and the chainmail armor texture is a rusted and beat up version of the new iron armor texture.
Knock yourself out. There are also some other customized textures in there that I prefer from the default ones, such as an upscaled painterly lighter and the alternate Fire-Arm which I think was called the CO2 Nordenfelt or something, and also the records from DokuCraft, since I didn't like the look of those cartridge things.

The cow texture looks good, I coudld throw it in the customizer as an alt texture, but I was never happy with how the written data-pad looked.
Also, I have been working on the Iron Chest mods. I have the crystal chest to a point where i like it but I am stuck on the Iron chest. I cannot get the inside of the lid to look nice and I am totally clueless on how to make good looking footlocker latches. If anyone wants to try their hand at it while I fumble in the dark here is the texture

I think the rest of the chests can just be recolours of the iron chest.

The yellow-ness has been worked on. I am kinda going with another dimension storage for the alchemical chest and crazy portals which can change one object into another for the energy condensor, so I think the portal are fine. I am going to fine tune them a bit though. Any tips on how to add depth for the diamonds and the altered ender pearl is just a place holder until I decide what will replace the covalence dusts, then the lid will be changed as well.
Thoes look great, I especally like the redstone engine.
Mind posting the center trunk textures, I have an idea for improving them?
Also im going to edit the combustion engine to make it more decernamble from the steam engine.

Also updated energy condensor. the lid still isn't complete until covalence dust textures decided though and I haven't looked into adding depth to the diamonds, might remove them or just leave the one on top.

Whoops, went back a few pages to Froman's post of whats completed and what needs work and saw block_generator was complete. XP

Using those textures I missed previously, here is the compact solar array mod stuff.
I went with the assumption that the top slab is the solar panel and the bottoms could be interchanged to boost power.
I couldn't get the bottom of the HV array to my liking though of hazard stripes around all sides.
Okay so technic got updated and there are more mods that need to be supported. Thermal expansion (ic2) Tubestuff Nuclear control (ic2) Modular force fields (ic2) Mystcraft (perhaps the lore for this could be the books are fantasy stories that the player writes down)
anyways ill get to posting the textures that need to be done for thoes mods later.

Played around with the engine textures and heres what I came up with.

Just something to enhance the immersion value is all. Also, I know the server IP just changed... but I didn't catch who I was supposed to get ahold of to get the new IP and all that jazz. So I hope it's not a problem if I ask while I'm here. You guys have a thread in the actual 'servers' section of the site? Might help boost interest if you made one... assuming you didn't.
Anyways, love the work you've done. Love the server. You're a cool bunch of righteous dudes, and I'm looking forward to exploring more of the Minecraft Wasteland.
yeah i was wondering what the new ip was too or at least where to find it
My question is: how did you get the clock texture to work? I've been trying to update my texture pack's items and I can't get the clock to work. Granted, in your pack, there's no moon or sun graphic, but at least the clock itself changed. I can't get it to change in mine.
