I'm not dead... Just been busy, and, dare I say, I may have nearly forgotten about this pack. But I'M BACK. Someone give me a list of things to update and I'll do it, cause I now have more stable access to a computer.
I have been watching some Tekkit videos, and I believe someone, Froman maybe, was working on some textures for that. What other textures are required for it? I might try my hand at some.
Okay so it seems we have a bit of work to do on the texture packs. As of right now im working on industrialcraft.
If you need help deciphering what something is then either look to the industrialcraft wiki, install the mod and look at things in creative mode or ask me in the thread.

crops_0.png (This one is a little puzzling on what to do as you can crossbreed pumpkins(tv's) with watermelons (crates) and with every other plant as well. it might be worthy reading up on what kinds of plants can be bred)
-Edit- just thought up a way to get around this: the sticks are a newer or older model of teleporter that when placed adjacent to an empty one causes it to teleport both types of product into the same space mixing the teleport algorithms or something.

Thanks, I'll play around with Tekkit and see what ideas I can come up with.
We can probably reuse some alt ores for the new ores and I though that perhaps the rubber trees could be a stack of old tires.
For equivalent exhange we can probably make use of a modified enderchest texture for something.
Sorry but im too tired right now to actually get the names or file paths of them. ill probably fix this post tomorrow if you have trouble with these.

I have the buildcraft items and block textures in though. It looks like the blank template item is missing a texture or is it suppose to be like that.

Found what I did wrong with computercraft and I found which guis for Buildcraft those are.
I believe we can probably reuse quite a few of the many alt textures we have, at least for now to get a semi-full support out (can't reuse Guis). Then if better ideas present themselves we can go back and make new textures.

There are alt stone textures in the customizer. I doubt we will change the resolution, it would be way too much work. This isn't some pixel artist making this, it's just a few people from the forum, some of whom don't have that much skill at pixel art and texturing.
I don't think the team is up to doing a pack with different resolution than the current one. Although what was requested was a 128x pack heres a reply from Dereksmith
Hell no. Sorry, but no. Not unless we were an assigned team and payed to work. This stays 32x because it's far smaller in filesize, easier on computers, and far easier to work with. I know, you don't mean replace, but it is far too much work. Sorry.
If you want to help with the current resolution pack then there are several mods I listed earlier that need texturing.
besides if derek did convert the pack into 64x or 128x there would a flood of complaints from people saying that they can't run it because despite the fact that computer technology is obscenely excellent at the moment, there is still people who play minecraft on a potato pc
I am a huge fan of LAST DAY'S but would it be possible for you to have different "style's" of the pack? That relate to the item's of the pak? Such as a "Scavenger" variant with random thing's one would find in the nuclear apocalypse, such as a sharpened Stop Sign for the iron halberd in more weapons?

Well I was thinking of an overgrown style where it looked like nature was taking back the land however its not something I could handle alone nor do i even want to attempt that until we get some proper mod support.

itself is complicated due to the template brigade posted. So were at a lull. :l

I actually did this a long while back when history was in charge. But it was very, VERY sub-par. Not even worth digging up. It was just re-shaded textures. I based it as ages of decay. IE: 10 years, 100, 1000, 10000, each becoming more colorful and less artificial.
