An update on the lore (what ive already done is in spoilers).
The fire-arm MKII: A few of the more mechanically inclined wastelanders decided that their current ranged weapon of choice was insufficient at killing they decided to reinforce the original fire-arm's bow and stock to allow it to fire at greater speeds and modified the firing and loading mechanisim to hold new stronger iron bolts that can be primed to fire so they don't have to fumble with loading arrows when a malfunctioning huggatron suddenly sneaks up behind them.
I also think ill be wording these like a merchant is trying to sell them to you at least for weaponmod as most of the weapons are pieces of scrap cobbled together.
Now the old designs of projectile weapons are nice and good but if you want to protect something from a raider siege your going to need something with a punch to it., and that's where this little number comes in.
The A6 Mighty Driver(name pending)
Now this isn't like any pre-event weapon you've ever seen. This little beauty uses the static igniter in old fire torches to detonate huggatron cores inside the firing chamber propelling a bullet (ammo not included with purchase) straight out of the chamber and through whatever your aiming at.
and for a little extra I can throw in a kitchen knife and some tape to attach it to the thing so you can stab anything that gets close.

The mutations in the Lost reverted the effects of the Molotov Pris-cola and the Molotov poisoned Regen-cola. Somehow, the bandits also have that same mutation.

I made some changes to your version of the potion lore and added it to the Misc section for now.
@LordBrigadier: Is the cocoa plant animation really custom_terrain_168.png? According to the sheet that bradley posted before he left, it needs to be called custom_terrain_170.png, otherwise the animation will overwrite the first growth stage:
The cocoa plant useds slots 168, 169 and 170. First growth is 170 and final is 168. I have tested it and it works.
that looks great, i was actually going to do a new brewing gui soon but thats more than good enough to use.
to help with buildcraft Ill give you some old textures from when I made a poor attempt to texture it.

Burnt lights - Found in the OI (crap, whats the squid) ocean probes after their destruction.
Speaker - using wiring from the burnt lights and more wiring from the Hydronic battery, wastelanders are able to create a speaker-like thing
Diode - (this requires turning the defualt flowers into the warning lights) Taken from the red warning lights
use croco's pink wool lore. Now a variable energy yield is like a resistor: you can change how much power can be taken, or yielded, by a piece of circuitry (or at least that's how i think of it) and you can change it at will.
Detector - for some reason, OI found it neccessary to discard these along with the radioactive waste.
circuit - created by changing some wiring with the hydronic battery
use that brown wool lore
capacitor - Taken from yellow warning lights
Opto generator - WTF IS THAT!?
Geiger tube - created by adding in wires from the Hydronic battery to the Opto Generator
Pipes - I have no idea. Somehow an Opto generator mated with a diode and made pipes.
1/2 Mag tape - Created by OI to record ANYTHING!
Sprockets - Used to make clocks
Fan - OI likes using batteries to make weird things.
Hydronic battery - Used mainly for wiring, but can revert anything!

You're too fast XD It's complycated since hello2u08 is officially responsible for management and is working on some stuff of which I don't know what it is. You should ask him.
For the time being you could refine the colors e.g. Why do the batteries enhance scrap shack and plant growth, explanation how flowers (not lights) can be crafted into tools (pigments?) etc.
Pumpkin and Melon seeds are an issue that deserve a lengthy scientific explanation (but please no nanobots) but I'm not sure if hello isn't working on that. He only disclosed to me that he was working on complicated explanation stuff like the snowman.
See, i can't do much right now because i'm at my grandfather's place and his computer SUCKS. Can't do tabs or anything. But i can try.
For the issue of the flowers making tools, it does make no sense. HEY DEREK, CHANGE THE FLOWERS TO THE WARNING LIGHTS!
Next, hydronic batteries. How about this:
The OI Hydronic Battery is capable of enhancing ANYTHING from speeding up the time it takes for machinery to do machine-y stuff to organic growth!
Now, the punkins and melons.

On suggestions for the transport pipes what ed said was fine except for a few things:
the cobblestone should be slightly darker so you can tell the difference between it and the smoothstone pipe at a glance.
gold cant have red wire on it for the plain one because it has a version with redstone wires.
diamond for the colors on the pipe you could use arrows pointing away from the center that are the appropriate color on the colored portion.
obsidian can be ripped from one of the obsidian textures floating around in one of the customizers. or I would suggest some kind of vacuum or vent texture for the obsidian pipes function of sucking up items.
7 hours of texturing...water levels running low. The last packet of crisps have been consumed...I continue on, knowing that anytime, IT will get me....repeating music of own making non functional... Error: brain.exe has expired. Closed for refreshments! ಠ_à²
all I have to say is welcome to the world of graphic design, and try pandora internet radio.
Who else thinks that this texture pack should have mod support for the Explosives+ mod? I think it would be nice because of explosives+ being composed of nukes, bombs, suicide vests, and overall apocalypse, I think this would be great mod support for this mod!

SO now that you're done looking at the other weapons (including the firearm markII *cough crossbow cough*) Feast your eyes on this beaut. This ladies and germs is the one sure way to make sure what ever you're looking gets dead.... Given it's close enough.... This is a beautiful hand crafted shoulder mounted blunderbuss. Now being a blunderbuss and all it can just about whatever you can stuff in it... BUT we recommend using our custom ammunition just so that when you get done making raiders and huggitrons dead, You won't be dead yourself. Now the key feature is the shoulder mounted aspect... If we thought that a regular stock wasn't good enough... well I'll let you do the math. This... This is a gun.
Radiation dart:
now this little malicious item when fired will cause severe radiation poisoning in anything it hits or the massive amount of radiation causing malfunctions in electronics such as the huggatrons or hall monitors. Although it uses the traditional fire-arm ammo fan in the back it cant be fired from one due to the odd shape of the "payload canister" in the center, so your best bet of firing this into the neck of whatever would like to end your life with a hollowed out reed.
