Well once those are done someone could help me texturing the technic pack and a few other popular mods. I could make a list of what needs to be done if anyone wants to help.
- Vines (into lichen? Yes/No? And has someone any idea how those biome colors work?)

after picking apart misa's texture pack I found that the misc folder contains all the files used by mcpatcher for custom colors.

(list based on the current rec build) Buildcraft [once this ones finished it would be much easier to to the following 2 as they use textures based off this one] Kraphts logistics pipes [for buildcraft] Additional pipes [also buildcraft] additional buildcraft objects [more buildcraft] Red Power [Im mostly working on this one but some help with the item textures and the red power world plugin would greatly help] Industrialcraft2 [This one is big, like a new texture pack big. my suggestion is if you do tackle this one take it a few bits at a time] charging bench [small but it has to do with industrialcraft] railcraft [this one is a good amount of copy and pasting but it might be worth it to do] Thaumcraft [although there are a lot of textures to this one, i think it would be harder to make it fit with the lore than the texturing work as the entire mod centers around magic instead of technology (some textures dont need to be resized as they are already pretty high res)] Equivelant Exchange [same problem as above] Forestry [Should be much easier after buildcraft is finished as it uses some pipe textures and machine textures. - Giant Mushrooms (Lore fragments have it, that they are above ground radiation shields, red ones were repurposed as scrap shacks. But they grow from normal mushrooms with the use of hydronic batteries and drop mushrooms when broken. Also, the mycelium spreads, even though it's metal. Lore or new textures necessary)
- Custom mobs (Spiffy is currently working on the Lost)
Look at the alt mushroom texture in the customizer is that more to your liking. The Mycleium is actually seems like something that spreads and the Large mushrooms are like infected shacks.
We have a bunch of custom mobs in the customizer, but more can never hurt.
Also the tripwire stuff goes beneath the brewing stand textures. Hook under the base and wire under the stand.
Regarding Thaumcraft I felt reminded of the novel "Roadside Picnic" and the film and game STALKER based on it:
Essentially we'd rely on ALIENS!â„¢ or nuclear radiation to explain the occurence of phenomena inexplicable for humans. Still they can try to harness their power.
hmm I was thinking somewhere along the lines of that with aliens for the eldritch objects and radiation for the more mundane.
I was working on balkhons weaponmod and a have a few new pieces of lore to add.
The fire-arm MKII:
A few of the more mechanically inclined wastelanders decided that their current ranged weapon of choice was insufficient at killing they decided to reinforce the original fire-arm's bow and stock to allow it to fire at greater speeds and modified the firing mechanisim to hold new stronger iron bolts primed to fire so they dont have to fumble with loading arrows when a malfunctioning huggatron suddenly sneaks up behind them.
Also I was comparing the customizers to see what was missing and it seems the current one is missing quite a few options. they dont need to be added now but im just bringing them to attention.
A few of the armor icons and armor texture selections are missing. including the tarnished version of the current diamond armor.
2 1X1 paintings, 2 1x2 paintings, 3 2X2 paintings (but i don't think these matter as much), 1 4X2 painting and 1 4X4 painting.
the rust roach silverfish alternate, a pallet swap of the current slime skin, an "experiment" themed snowman skin, The old spider texture, 9 different colored spider eye textures and an alternate blaze.
The alternate wood doors, and alternate more beat up minecart, the monorails, an alternate redstone torch, 5 sign textures and 3 sign item textures, and alternate piston texture, 2 alt tnts (although ill probably use these as the high explosives in industrialcraft and Equivalent Exchange), 3 more torches, 4 stone slabs, a trap door and a ladder.
4 bread textures, 4 fish, 2 cookies and an egg
a bookshelf, a brewing stand, an enchanting table
6 backgrounds,3 menu titles, the static panorama, the alternate xp bar, 2 armor bars, the old health bar, an alternate unknown pack, the 2 other air bubbles, the glitchy looking font alternate, the other pumpkin blur, all of the other targeting recticles and the alternate enchanting table book.
alt cake icon, the alternate thicker coal cell, 2 different flints, 2 sticks and 3 strings.
there appears to be a block break texture that my personal pack has that isint being used either no idea where it came from but it seems to have better quality than the current one. here -edit- nevermind it appears to be from the summerfeilds texture pack so we cant use it unless we get permission.

The alt mycelium is reaaally bright, and the scrap shacks would still grow from mushrooms. The default textures in the costumizer are a mixture between overgrown and normal mushrooms btw.
Good work on updating the customizer. I was delighted to find you added everything except for the 4x2 painting "Hold up Rocketeers" poster and the orange/magenta woo- *Sssssss BOOM!*
The custom mobs are all the same with different color filters slapped on them (and the lime green and cyan Lost look outright ridiculous)
Speaking of custom mobs, could you move the bulk of the cat textures to the custom mobs section? That's what I originally intended them to be (if the costumizer supports custom cats)
Also it appears some textures were uploaded twice (as far as I can judge from the previews and my personal texture count)
Counting from left to right: black 2&3 , siamese 1&7 and red 1&4 are the same

I just downloaded all the ones you posted and uploaded those. I might have downloaded doubles somehow. I'll remove the doubles and perhaps you can ID which ones need to be added.
It could have made their blood toxic so while it slowly kills them it also makes 'em stronger? Say, aren't you the lad that was also in the Wasteland Generator thread.
yes i love using that mod and this texture pack they fit really well together
But why are Huggatrons affected by poison and hallmonitors aren't. Why are Mutant scientist in space suits healed by damaging potions? It's all really complex
maybe you could say the hall monitors and huggatrons are made of different materials the poison is corrosive to huggatrons and hall monitors are more durable against it and the mutant scientists well they have mutated to be resilient and benefit from it that's the best i could come up with

Good idea with the solar panel. The texture previously had some sort of connection-thingies for solar panel wings that broke of during entry into earths atmosphere, but no one would have recognized that.
Putting the solar panels directly on the satellite is a good idea, I'll try how that looks.
What was your impression of the satellite dish, if I may ask?

Chests are moved to chest.pngs in item folder.
Also if you don't like how the dish turned out what about changing the dish part to a solar panel.
maybe you could say the hall monitors and huggatrons are made of different materials the poison is corrosive to huggatrons and hall monitors are more durable against it and the mutant scientists well they have mutated to be resilient and benefit from it that's the best i could come up with
