Weapons and armor added to the lore thread.
We could use some bigger screenshots of all items and mobs mentioned there. Preferably in daylight, either in front of a smooth background, or in the mobs natural environment without any other mobs in the background.
Edit: Also the new stuff needs a spell/grammar check.
i hav an idea for the cave spiders
The Hall Monitor Mk 2
an upgraded model of its predecessor the Hall Monitor, it has been reduced in size for it to able to fit through smaller spaces, it is also been fitted with a tranquillizer needle that upon impact the victim is injected with a dose of poison, the poison doesn't kill the victim but subdues them instead. unfortunately if the victim is subdued and receives another dose, it will kill them. before the event the Hall Monitor Mk 2 was still in development and their assignment parameters hadn't been installed yet and are set to a defaut wander state yet after the event they still roam the halls searching for people breaking curfew
Those are some pretty interesting ideas. The cave spider was called "Raider Hall Monitor" or something, in the old costumizer, but I'm sure both ideas can be combined, or the old name just be ignored.
What is your avatar supposed to be? I find it highly unsetteling for some reason...

Maybe the raiders are intelligent enough to corrupt the data that tracks enemies.
Swamps... I sent hello a pm and told him about the wires thing, and gave him a
tiny idea of the swamps that the inhabitants of the shacks electrocuted themselves.
Maybe the vines could be some sort of "creeping wire", that grows and attempts to kill whatever it covers, and is part of the reason why there is little plants?

well since the swamp trees a tall maybe the vines could be ropes that the people used to climb into the shacks
Why not have the vines be the cables of these radio towers/tesla coils/whatever be some sort of self maintaining/repairing cables that make poor attempts at connecting with other ones or to ground themselves.

i see, maybe the cables used to connect the towers together but as time went by they came undone

Sorry, I have been down with strep throat lately, so I have not gotten much done. Sorry again, and I will start again as soon as I can. ( I realize I made myself sound very important, but it helps with my self esteem ;D )
Hi
That´s very good but can you make a [128x] pack?
Hell no. Sorry, but no. Not unless we were an assigned team and payed to work. This stays 32x because it's far smaller in filesize, easier on computers, and far easier to work with. I know, you don't mean replace, but it is far too much work. Sorry.
All of the vine ideas are interesting, however each of them also has some logic flaws.
Also since we already have redstone, purple wool, redstone ore, etc to simulate wiring I think we should stick with plant overgrowth, but change the color and/or design. I didn't find anything fitting though.
I don't know how destroyed the environment is suppose to be in the lore, but perhaps the vines could be either moss or fungi. Both of those usually grow in odd places or are pioneer species.
With fungi as vines, the cocoa plants could be fungal growth and cocoa seeds are spores or something.
We had someone working on that. Can't remember who. Also, what sounds need to be updated?
i think the enderman, explosions, player damage, fall damage, bow, eating and drinking sounds are all i can think of at the moment. pretty much all the sounds from 1.8 onward
The images Jeb_ has posted has a ore texture similar to the item on the trading screen.
The ore can be a safe (there is a existing texture on the old customizer) and in it is CASH! $
Now all we need is a snapshot...

If the coins comes from an ore, there is an old gold ore texture that looks like an ATM and then the coins can be cash.
If they just come from just trading then I'd suggest a new type of currency that would have more value to the survivors than the current gold-back currency used today.
Ideas for that route:
A currency back by water: (Rather Fallout-ish though)
Bullets as currency: (Metro 2033 Reference)
Some other rare useful item of value
(Also I did not get a break between my summer and spring semesters, but I only have one class, so I'll try to finish up the customizer.)

Curse PremiumEDIT: Nevermind i canged as soon as i posted this.
Wut?
I guess the answer is 42
Does anyone know details about the upcoming trading and currency?
Is it possible to craft money (out of gold)? And what should our currency look like? Money will be pretty worthless, I'd vote for clean water, if this wasn't already used in the pack.
Any ideas?
As I learned in economics: Anything that is rare and sought after can be used as currency: seashells, cigarettes, post stamps, pokémon trading cards...
Also: Shovels, pickaxes and golden sword added to the lore thread. Feel free to critizise and spellcheck since it's stuff I just made up.
