READ ME- this pack will not work unless you merge it with you're last days 1.8.1(i have placed one below) you must delete comply s ctm folder! for it to work.
this is the last test pack for this project ..... lime and blue wool need to be animated! - I will leave this to comply when he comes online?

Hey guys, So I'm sure none of you have actually seen me here before well that's because this is one of my first posts. All that aside, I have some news. Please note that I am NOT advertising here, but I have been developing a server and modding this texture pack specifically for it for QUITE some time Now here is what i've done:
Heads up, this is long.
From the beginning, I tried to use the direct download link for the server resourcepack, but alas, it never worked. I then soon found out that server resource packs are limited to 50 mb... well since this pack is well over 200 I needed to cut out a TON of files. I started by compressing all textures, but that only brought it down to about 225 mb. So I started looking through the files, finding large ones, and as you may have guessed by now, the sound files are just MASSIVE. Well since .ogg files are already compressed, and to lower the file size any more would be to lower quality, I decided to cut out ones i deemed unnecessary. My server has the nether disabled so i cut out all custom sounds for the nether and nether mobs :'( I removed all ambient sounds , and removed two songs that i can't remember off of the top of my head.
TD;LR After all that I got the the pack down to 49.8 mb
Please note, There are NO nether textures, and it LACKS cave sounds (random radio transmissions), but in my opinion vanilla mc's are ok. Furthermore, to conform with my server I used the customizer (no longer available) to switch a few textures around (mainly quartz pillars). The resource pack does not have sounds for some mobs that I have disabled, including, sheep, pigs, cows, creepers(partially), endermen, silverfish, endermites(?), and villagers.
Furthermore, I added some custom textures for guns by replacing useless tools like stone and gold. I also replaced bones so that bandits drop guns, which I think is a really cool aspect. Through some plugins, I disabled the crafting of these items.
Now here comes the important part of this post... (please read spoiler for context)
I need some way to actually give this pack to players. Since I haven't kept up with the posts here I must ask, has the project been completely abandoned and is now run completely by the community? Is sharing files still prohibited? Is it possible in any way for me to share my version? I know some people have addons to it, like the banners (love them!), but that requires people to manually add them. I'm looking to use this as a server resourcepack.

EDIT: After writing this I looked back to see if anything was updated... well of course someone had to update it to 1.8.1 XD but what I am astonished by is how the entire pack is only ~30 mb? was there some drastic change? Well back on topic, Do I have permission to modify some of those textures and sounds and use it as a server resourcepack and hand it out?
