ohh, sounds awesome, although I was thinking a mod specifically for last days related stuff, EG: making caves seem like the corridors of the HIVE, having trees generate a bit more shack-like, making radiation/toxicity matter, changing the way stuff works, like diamond power armor actually having different effects, making Ghasts actually shoot missiles, that kind of thing, basically the LD version of terrafirmacraft... I hope to see your modpack soon, as even a less specific thing sounds awesome.
If the pack contains a mod that makes skeletons (Bandits) and zombies (The Lost) not burn in sunlight, I'd download it.

So I was browsing the Git Incomplete page, and I saw that several of the textures listed have already been done, such as potion_bottole_empty.png, most of the double plants, and the majority of the horse textures. They're all just sitting there in this slightly outdated pack. If you need me to upload them, I will, but I think that the page just needs to be updated. Who is in charge of that, exactly?

I wonder if it would be possible to set up a generator for that (and other) page(s), rather than having people hand-write them. It shouldn't be too hard, I'd imagine, if it's possible at all.

if you really want to get technical metal can have a sort of grain to lit like wood can. along with that the shacks could be made out of a mixture of plywood and metal which would explain both getting wood out of them and batteries when smelted. I was planning to add at least a few living trees as some mods like forestry and natura would give me an opportunity to add them. after all you can only make a shack so many ways before you run out of ideas.

i am totaly into that stuff, its a great ambience, and this pack HAS to live for a looong time! i am making a custom map that is supposed to use this pack. and i would love if YOU (Author of the pack) could use some of the amazing textures the community just posted in the last months here, they actualy look good, i even have some ideas how to use those blocks.
im just saying, cuz these days its easy to loose inspirations, you know?

There is technically speaking a 1.7 download, however it's missing a number of textures. Even the 1.6 download is.
ZeroLevels hasn't accepted my pull requests in a week now on the GitHub project and I don't think he's posted on this thread in longer, are we perhaps in need of a new manager? I've been following this pack for a long while, since History, but I was never actually able to contribute anything much. Hosting the GitHub project would be right up my alley, I think.

In the meantime, Wasteland mod updated a couple days ago. Apparently there are new ruins. This is also something I plan to investigate next time I get a home day.

OMG welcome back! And people have MADE textures for the 1.7 stuff but, it has not been put in the download. Also, the new flower textures are not done and the horse textures are bugged

Has anyone considered writing the pack.mcmeta file for the sound pack? If we're already zipping it separately, why not take advantage of Minecraft's multiple-resource-packs-at-once feature and make it a fully-fledged resource pack of its own? I'll attempt to do that and report back.
EDIT: Seems to work quite perfectly fine after copying over the pack.png and making a pack.mcmeta file containing

Someone submitted a pull request for removing a lot of the horse textures, but the horse textures only seem to be partials, as they still look like regular old horses. I would assume that they're not staying as such, since them dropping stoneback hide isn't really lore-friendly.
Aside from that, I've added most of the new textures Froman has thrown our way, and I'll begin gathering the newer ones for snapshots soon.
Froman, I see you've asked for a list of incomplete textures. You'll find most of them here. This is also where the downloads are. Next, your stained glass textures are likely better for the lore than the ones on the download page listed above. I'll fix that up soon enough. Lastly, do you think you could send me all your finished Mod Support textures so that I may add proper downloads to the pages?

That's one specific problem I've been looking into. An easy fix for now is I've guaranteed all zombies and skeletons will be wearing helmets.

Nobody "lied". They simply linked to the 1.6 version instead of the main page, which shows both versions. Said main page can be found here.
Animals are now spawning in the modpack (long story). I'm still working on zombie and skeleton equipment, potion effects, and drops.
