Ok guys:
1: I have ceased to exist. My server can be taken off of wherever it's labeled.
2: Since my exile into lack-of-internet, I have started work on an "adventure map" reflecting a city of my personal making. When I can, I'll post screenshots and I want you guys to make up a story for it.
3: Does any of you know any attractive, single girls?

I own the server for this AWESOME Texture pack. HECK YAS!

The third one made me laugh. No I don't know any single girls
That does look alot like the Mineout-Fallout texture pack.
I don't know, I kinda like the mineout texture because its fallout, whats not to love?, but in exchange for the lovlely idea the texture is so low resolution that the nuka machine looks like a blur of red and white, I can tell it would be much better in a better quality ( lets not get carried away and say something like 128x128).
But that is what I meant! There was an event, but there were a time before the event. Maybe the dark oak could be resistant to radiation, and they're still living trees. The planks were made like that, because the pattern would make the planks strong enough? Also, it gives good decor for adventure maps.

Pyrobine... the reason the other wood planks are different from the regular wood is because the oak and birch wood are scrap shacks and the jungle wood is antenna
Hmmm... The trees have recieved a mutation that causes the inside to become half aluminium? I dunno, been working with my modpack, so my mind is a little blown...

Pyrobine, yes it would be nice to have more trees. Can we have more trees?
*analyze lore and core pack concept*
I do not think it could work. HOWEVER! The customizer had some alternate regular wood in it. I think. Been a while since I saw that to. ANYWAY! my point is the official pack should not have more living wood. Unofficial alternate textures however? WHY NOT! LET THE MAN HAVE HIS WOOD!

MERRY 200th THREAD PAGE EVERYBODY! Let us break out the cooked irradiated fish and canned goods for such an occasion.
(I feel terrible. I am not on for who knows how long and I am graced with ushering in the 200th page on the thread)
Exactly! Am I the only one who wants more living trees into this pack?!?
if you really want to get technical metal can have a sort of grain to lit like wood can. along with that the shacks could be made out of a mixture of plywood and metal which would explain both getting wood out of them and batteries when smelted. I was planning to add at least a few living trees as some mods like forestry and natura would give me an opportunity to add them. after all you can only make a shack so many ways before you run out of ideas.
So, everyone think that i want the oak to be changed? THE OAK STAYS! I am talking about the dark oak texture over at page 198!
My idea was that the roofed forest could be an oasis in the radioactive wasteland. That explains why there are mushrooms/shacks in the biome: scientists needed to find out why the forest was untouched after the event.
Acacia trees could look like helipads, maybe? Nah, the opaque leaves doesn't fit.

You creeper.

I'll be honest and say I just looked at the thumbnail. I'll appraise it with more care and revise my opinion based on what I see.
Curses, I'll need a new link. In the meantime, I'll try to create more required textures.
I have read the lore. It's fascinating.
In other matters, it seems that the posted images for the wood textures have been removed.

I meant the dark oak. I know what the oak looks like, I've had this for over a year now...
