dereksmith, just in case you miss it, please read this post (last post on previous page).
Also, I forgot to make a post about it, but I've added the RopesPlus mod support to the download page for 1.6.
Now, as a break from adding the mod support, I'm making connected textures for each of the stained glass colors based on these textures by SectorC. That's going to be about 752 textures total. I may or may not have them done today. Some break, huh? -my head explodes-
I think it turned out fairly well. Sometime later today, I'll finish up the other colors and upload them. Hope you like them!
I don't see anything in that post except for two [ hr ] codes. Did you make a mistake?
I also have a suggestion for mod support! Better Breeding would be really fun with custom LD textures for all the different strange breeds of animal. For example, the leather cows could have a bigger and harder-looking plate on their backs, and fluffy chickens could be little propulsion unit factories.
Ah, apologies. I was really tired when I made that post. I was in a hurry to get some sleep. Here you are.

It is quite a satisfying result. As soon as I saw the colored glass textures,
I merely copied the frames from regular glass for each of the variations.

Its seems like Last Days is chugging nicely along. I am confused by all the links, however. Could you please explain?
I've crossed out the links above that either no longer apply, or seemingly no longer apply. The two links that are relevant at the moment are the downloads page (mostly for users of the pack, but contains details for those who wish to help out with the pack as well), and the Github repository, which is strictly for the use of keeping track of all updates and contributions. So, if you're just looking to use the pack, stick to the Downloads Page.
If you're confused about how to install the separate parts, my apologies. I've not yet gotten around to writing a guide for that. I will when I have the motivation for anything other than textures.
Speaking of textures, the connected stained glass textures will likely be up tonight as well as a 1.7-compatible pack (still pretty far from finished, but the files that are already there should all work). Though, 1.6 is still missing some textures. I'm still a bit unsure on the horse textures. Haven't seen much from many people who said they were working on it, and I'm unsure of what people are going to go with.

That took a little more setting up than I thought it would. I had to set up a home page first, for re-directing people to downloads for specific versions. Anyways, the 1.7 downloads are up now. Here's some screenshots of what's been added.
Stained Glass and Panes Connected Textures by me, based on SectorC's above:
(Panes are only connected horizontally until Mojang fixes being able to see the tops/bottoms of the panes from inside the glass)
I'll be adding some more music to the pack as well fairly soon as well. I've temporarily just copied the six songs I'd found before into the new folders in 1.7.
Lastly, the home page for the pack downloads also links to lists of still-needed textures. Hopefully some of you who contribute will find the time to create some more, as I'm not very good at 32x myself, especially not for this type of pack. I'm only any good at editing pre-existing textures, such as with the connected textures above.
Good day!

That sort of thing is not currently possible with standard bad guys. Only the Ender Dragon and Wither Boos have any sort of special noises for them. The noise made on the Wither's beginning of a rampage, and the new 1.7 music added to the boss fight of Ender Dragon.
You'd need a mod (other than MCPatcher stuff) for something like that. The only thing I can think of that does something similar is Battle Music by Mr. okushama. Unless Vanilla does something for that, or MCPatcher starts accommodating neat new features for all aspects of resource packs, then I don't think it can be done.

Hey, fellow Last Days Community.
I apologize for my lack of textures, been busy with school and other things... Which sucks so much.
Does anyone know what textures are needed for the texture pack?

Well you can start by looking at the feed the beast ultimate modlist practically nothing there has been done, overload modpack would be a good idea as well.

Maybe we should consider finishing the 1.7 compatibility first?
Like acacia wood or podzol?
I think packed ice should look like the sides of buildings, if that's possible at all. I mean, it's after a nuclear war, there should be ruined cities somewhere.

I believe someone did Podzol already.
I'll work on Acacia wood.
Packed ice could look like big chimneys, since snow looks like ash.
I approve this idea!

I think you're talking about for use in adventure maps. You can use command blocks to generate any sound effect in the game's collection.
