Dunno. I really think there should be a github for the pack though (minus the sounds, maybe). It'd be a lot easier to manage the pack if there were branches (per MC version with minor/major differences in setup). That way, anyone wanting to contribute some textures could fork the project and add it to the correct folder. If the project overseers (the people most trusted as contributors) think the texture fitting for the pack, they could accept the pull request. This would make it also very easy to credit the contributors, as there'd be a commit by each person contributing. Last, but probably most importantly, it'd be a lot easier to determine those who remain active for the pack.
A download page could be created and maintained on the github by said overseers and can release new versions of the pack without having to go through one person who may or may not be active at the time of release of necessary changes.
Github is mainly used for code, yeah, but it'd be an excellent means of managing this kind of project as well.

Huh... That took a lot less convincing than I thought. I already have a pull ready I can do once you've created one. I've set up most of the ctm to work out of the box for 1.6, fixed up a few entries in the language pack (obvious renaming of texturepack to resourcepack stuff), and have even started working at putting together 1.7 setups. So that can be its own branch since it's set up a bit differently.
Looking forward to helping out where I can.

Yea that's a great idea Zero! I was just curious hah,
--but did anyone see my post about the text emoticons? I'm not sure why they are there and i really think they should be removed?
anyone else got an opinion on this?
--I am making a custom map with this resource pack ATM and will definitely change that on my own(I think its in the Lang. Files ??? idk)
but i really think it will just improve the pack as a whole

Emoticons? You mean the
:(Button.Name):
stuff? If so, I'm fairly sure that it's within the language pack maintainer's idea behind the language pack itself, to make things look a bit more complicated. The words at the top of GUIs being difficult to read, however... That's different. It is simply that the textures to not encompass overlaying texts. However, this may be easy enough to fix without need for altering textures. I'll see what I can do about changing the font color for said GUIs, then run the results by the people who really make the pack tick.
The parenthesis and colons. Yes, the parenthesis and colons surrounding the text for buttons are in the lang file. I've never paid any particular mind to them, or found it harder to read myself. To each their own though. I'm unsure of if you're asking for a copy of a language file without those, or if you're more concerned about distributing an altered version without them. Please elaborate? If you require an altered one and are unsure of how to do so yourself, I can whip one up for you.

Ways to change text color require mc patcher but it is as simple as changing the text color as the font is just another texture:
Zero i would send all of the pre 1.5 files your way but the problem is they all add up to over 730 mb in files. i could upload them to the git possibly but that would still take a while.

I don't think I need the sounds or anything, if that helps with the filesize. MEGA.co.nz has really good upload speeds if you'd like to give it a shot. Best to keep the git as compact as possible. Though, do hold onto it all. We can sort through everything at some point and place them in an extras section of the git that won't receive any major updates to it. Hopefully we won't make Github sad... lol

That is awesome and it just needs that little symbol nice. Although how do you make the scrambled word thing?

Thanks. The only issue is looking at the book and that it appears when used as a menu thing it doesn't show the code number/letter but on the book it still shows that and I am assuming the same is for signs.

Yea! those little (: things.....If you could just tell me how to change that i could probably manage, and yea although i will change that for my custom map, i really thing they should be removed from the pack in general
(Ik how to change textures, sounds, and the easy stuff I'm just not sure how to change that little thing in particular)
If you need any help in maintaining it, then feel free to ask me. The Mod List is maintained on Github.
Basically, you sync the github repository to your computer. You then edit (add, change, remove) anything within that repository's location on your computer, then sync the changes to github. This is most easily done for beginners using the Mac/WindowsClient. It's what I first used, and I still use it for most things, as the nature of what I need to do is simple. Maintaining a resource pack will likely be simpler.
To add collaborators (these people will freely be able to make their own changes to your repository, so would only be given to those who you trust with it), you'd go into the settings for the LAST DAYS repo, and click collaborators. It'll prompt you for your password to be sure. Once entered, you'd search for and find the user on Github you want to add to the list. I don't know the full range of capabilities, but I doubt they'd be able to delete your repository. Also, any changes they make are backed up to the repo and documented, and you can go back to any point at any time. So the worst someone can do is make a few unsavory commits.

It's not really my decision to make, and I also don't share the same opinion. However, you could use this variant in its place. In order to make it work, you'll also need the correct pack.mcmeta file, as that's what needs editing to add new language files. So, you can use either or both of those if you'd like.
If you'd rather do it yourself, then you should be fine with the simple search and replace features in Notepad. Though, I'd recommend Notepad++ for editing such files, as it has an easier time reading lots of stuff and offers syntax highlighting (if there is any (not in this case... still recommend it though!)).
For Acacia and Dark Oak Wood Types: Dark Oak would be like a metal plated tree with some black goo coming out of it. As for the Acacia I'm thinking of a burnt type of wood.
For Packed Ice: Bricks stuck in some ice like that place was hit badly by nuclear winter.
Perhaps the potion of water-breathing should be an oxygen tank (if possible). Then the pufferfish could be an impure (and toxic?) source of oxygen, that needs to be filtered.

Retired StaffNope. Seems to be supported in Vanilla to an extent. This image covers it well enough, but more info can be found here.
So, these entries in the LAST DAYS .lang file: return the following:
Personal Information Dispenser
Crafting
This screenshot should sum it up more efficiently, though.
That seems legible now, eh?
Though, it's unsurprising if MCPatcher does indeed have a setting for it so it's a bit more flexible.
