You know now that I think about it I think the new packed ice block for the Ice Spikes Plains biome should be that one ice texture with the squiggly lines in it, you can find it In the customizer
I refer to that as "bloody ice". How would that fit in lore I wonder?
Currently working on converting remaining textures for IC2 that haven't been converted yet. Does anyone know what the obscuator does?
Obscurator camouflages cables to look like other blocks, so it could be a hologram projector or something of the like
also, scrapyard canyon biome seems cool, as honestly the only other option i can think of is making it a barren wasteland, which we have plenty of already, but then again, the machines that the clay blocks are changed to dont exactly look broken and scrapped, they are still functional for the most part
my other thought is that we could make them post urban areas, places where there were cities before the Event, and make them all paved over and stuff
the ice spike biomes could be the junkyards, because i remember there being old textures for snow and ice that overhauled them into scrap covered biomes, twould also explain the snow golem-bot being made of freaking snow
The redwood tree biome, it's just begging to be turned into giant skyscrapers with rubble and debris underneath
the Dark Forest or whatever it's called could be an area densely populated by scrap shacks and once-survivors of the Event
Savannah, hmmmm, this strikes me as a good place for a windblown dustbowl biome.
that's all i can think of for now, jeez mojang cool down with all the fancy new blocks will ya?

Perhaps the savannah biome could also be known as the badlands. I thought that in lore they would be areas where bandits happened to appear in large quantities which is why the only shacks in the area belong to bandits, daredevils, or people who feel they have no where else to go. The reason I don't exactly agree with a dust bowl area is because there would have to be alot of sand and just plain dirt. Redwood forest could be places where the ground was literally seared and pioneer species made the ground habitable by plants again. I like your idea for the packed ice in the taiga plains or whatever and the taller spikes could have been towers made by crazy people who were already living there. (crazy dump person says= GET OFF MY TRASH!)
honestly, i never liked the idea of any one biome being more organic or re-grown, thus the Redwoods being huge ruined skyscraper spires with the podzol or whatever being cracked pavement or something along those lines

Eh. Its your opinion and technically the authors but bear in mind that if you want them to be skyscrapers the pine log texture needs to be redone.
Damnit, why couldn't mojang have created some new trees? They just reshaped the existing ones.

why dont you guys just turn the wool back into machines. it would cause less problems in my eyes as it would allow old adventure maps compatible again and the only real draw back is the whole carpet thing. honestly, there was never really anything wrong with it in my eyes when it was wool other then the whole flammable issue

Thing is, that's the point, if we make clay into machines, the Canyon biome gets screwed over. If we make wool into machines, then carpets get screwed over, it's a no win sittuatuon
although i do think that wool would be the better choice to use as machines, as if someone's goint o use wool in this TP anyway, it's not like they're gonna think it would make a good carpet anyway
It's possible to have biome-specific textures for blocks.
So we can have the hardened clay textures in the canyon biome/mesa biome/whatever it is change to whatever we want them to with MCPATCHER
Hear him out, he isn't lying and this seems like the best plan of action.
I'm back! From the depths of the dark, mysterious thing known as life. Is there anything that requires work? (Not mob textures. I'm not good at that. :()

According to his location slender man. LOL. Personally I don't care how the whole wool over clay goes unless there are new textures or something along the line it's not going to work.

So your telling me that if you punch the leaves you get the pre-existing saplings that don't grow the "new" trees!?!
but i'm just guessing that they're just placeholders for now untill they make acacia and redwood logs/leaves
Or maybe like the swamps the saplings grow into these trees under conditions of biome and or amount of saplings.

Couldn't he just use CTM for the carpets?
Oh right I forgot ctm can be used that way.
