It's kinda funny that this pack was pretty much the first (if not the only) texturepack to have a complete sound overhaul included before 1.6, and now that that feature is broadly available, this pack doesn't have it anymore. I'm waiting to delve into the hellish afterworld again.

It DOES have it.
But the file is so huge, you need to download the resource pack in parts. Drop the files into their correct locations within the .zip
Hey, I was just wondering why the sound pack is unavailable for download from MediaFire, It states that I do not have permission to download said file.
Hey, does anyone know where the soundpack is? The "soundpack" in the link is just a bunch of friggen block textures. Somebody said you CAN download it, but it's huge..really? Where is it?
Without the sounds to go with it, it doesn't feel like it's worth it.
I think the horse should be heavily mutated, perhaps even alien to the point of it's mutation. And here is my reasoning.
1. People feel strongly about horses, humans have a strong connection to them. For the horse to be some weird non-intuitive thing would decrease their value.
2. I cannot imagine a ridable roving herd of whatever robotic appliance that could be the horse without violating my above point. Automated lawn mowers gone out of control? Blech.
3. Why would there ever be a cyborg horse? Why aren't the cows cyborgs? Did you know horses drop leather, like cows? Robots don't grow skin, but mutated stonebacks do, (and so would mutated horses)
4. I've never seen a post-apocalyptic world where the wasteland hero comes riding in...on a robot. Horses seem to survive in most of the fiction, if anyone's going to be riding anything.
So that's my, perhaps petty argument. I think if the horses do wind up being simply mutated horses, heavy mutation would be desirable to give them the necessary flare expected from the only mount in Last Days, a minecraft universe filled with mutated creatures and cyborg terrors.

Well Mr. Azak I somewhat have the same feelings as you but if you read the lore behind the whole texture pack then you'll understand why most things are robots ooor something of the sort lol
Anyways...if they do go with the whole mutated horse idea then they could just make the zombie horse and the skeleton horse robotic...and I mean if you think about it...it would be pretty cool to have a robot horse...they had them in Fallout xP
not that I'm comparing this pack to the Fallout series
Does anyone know how to install the resource pack kingskyler1997 has been working on? This is a little different than what I'm used to, as I used to play a lot of mods before the 1.6 release.

Slight problem with the resource pack, felt like I should report it here.
The sky is a bright and happy blue, rather than the dismal brown it's supposed to be. Is anyone else experiencing that?
Seriously, forget the horse for a moment. The atmosphere is integral to this pack.
I tried to tinker around with the old texture packs and the new one, optifine, mcpatcher et all, but the sky remains a bright blue and not the brown it's supposed to be...

I know, I know, it was published a time back, BUT I have one thing to say:
Are you my mummy?
I'm scared of the bombs, mummy. Please let me in!
They aren't already?
