But Gold Armor is called "Hazmat HORS Armor" in the language pack.
I was really looking forward to a horse in a hazmat suit. ;.;
Also, as I keep building, I have to ask.
Why does stone and cobble make a sorta "popping" sound like... rubber I guess? It's supposed to be metal, isn't it? I was expecting a heavier more clanging-sound for stone, and maybe something like tin-foil for cobble.

Maybe it could be some kind of hazardous environment protection suit.
Like the helmet but could be a mask that goes on the horse's mouth.

SectorC: Bringing the "fun" in "dysFUNctional" since 2000.
Speaking of mules, I had an idea for donkeys/mules.
Mules themselves are the product of a horse and a donkey
What if the donkeys are like...Some sort of hybrid between a horse and a stoneback? So they'd be donkey-ish but they'd have signature features of the Stonebacks.
And then mules would have like...cybernetic parts in them (And possibly horse-like eyes since there'll be at least one organic horse as established earlier in the thread)

...Well it looks good on paper.

It would be amazing if this texturepack would actually be functional in a normal (non adventure map) environment :L.... It's extremely hard to understand / distinguish what ores are...
A less "heavy" version would also be nice... but I'm not going to ask for too much :L

Just play with it more... its really not as hard as you are making it out to be...
So, I found an old gas mask in one of the boxes in my basement. Don't ask how or when I got this, but if I can find a microphone I can try and record some sounds for the Masked!
NOTE: I HAVE HAD TO CANCEL THIS UNTIL LATE TUESDAY.

It really isn't that bad. Especially with the language pack giving everything its own names.
Takes some getting used to, but the ores and blacks are different enough you can see what everything is in terms of what it does or means. The mobs still have distinctive sounds to listen for; it's just different sound.
And, my personal favorite part; ghasts don't make my ears bleed!
My inspirations run away as quick as they appear. Knowing this, I grabbed a mouse and a primitive drawing program and sketched a concept for a horse.
May I present to you: The Shoddy Scrap Steed! (SSS if you will)
*fridge horse*
This is excellent, I'm definitely going to do this for one of the horses. The separate spots could be a mix between graffiti, scrap plates, rust, rot etc.

The metal Is heavy.
I guess I was just expecting more of a grinding sound, like dragging a steel beam along a floor.
I was just asking if there was a reason for it, not complaining or asking it to be changed or anything.

Oh gosh....
That would be too epic.
i see only one problem which is the leather maybe some bandits (or whoever made them) used them to transport their wares/goods aka leather
