whenever our customizer guy gets back on so maybe never?
alternatively we could make a new customizer like we did a while back when we lost the customizer but that takes alot of time
Mod support is looking absolutely awesome but I did notice one thing it looks like you are planning on making this pack usable with feed the beast. That is awesome none the less the only complaint I have but it is very small and that is just I don't like the fire texture it's just I get it being radiation I just don't like it, it seems weird. Anyways that is all ps if the mod support plan is to make this for feed the beast don't forget to do gregtech.
Hey, could someone here make some Last Days textures for IC2? Kinda hard to play IC2 while using this texture pack 'cause everything from IC2 looks so out of place

Im pretty positive we have IC2 covered for the most part it should be in the main download
I just checked, and the textures haven't been updated to the new IC2 texture layout
hmm well maybe not ones in the main download but I think froman updates those rather nicely you could look back a couple dozen of pages and see if Froman put up any updates that I missed
So, how about them horses? Any ideas? Also, can we make a ctm for the carpets?
I was thinking about that aswell and we have to undead and skeleton versions too right? because if so why not do like a terminator style looking horses where the undead are really tore up and the skeletons have just a few bits of flesh left on them

Like the Ocelots, but horses with Cyborg Implants? If so, I'll do the textures. (if someone will help me on the organic bits, because I suck at those.) And perhaps the mark_(white, blackdots, whitedots, and whitefield) files could the robotic implants?

I was thinking since the Chests are like Military Crates, The chests on the horses could be Satchels(Not final decision, just an idea)
They probably where going to become satchels in the end so I don't see why not but it would be nice if we heard more from Froman, Comply, and New Derek (Myspers)
I'm working on updating my old lang files with personal lore, which were previously for 1.0.0 and now need to be for 1.4.7 (since the customizer site doesn't have support for 1.5 texture mapping yet, I'm a version behind). I've added some of the established lore (with slight modifications in some cases), but I just can't settle for the lore regarding emeralds. If every single living human had a potentially life-threatening illness* that could only be treated with a substance found in downed satellites and deep underground in emergency generators, humanity wouldn't last long. I know they could theoretically synthesize their own hydrazine, but how likely is that in the living conditions of the Masked? To make matters even worse, they are apparently willing to give this invaluable substance to any wanderer who happens to pass through their village carrying a few pieces of highly renewable paper/plastic, or salvaged batteries, or even the purified water that said wanderer just took from that village's own field?
No, this just doesn't make any sense. I've been trying to work out an alternative for what could be valuable enough to be currency, without being so invaluable that no one in their right mind would ever trade it away. I really don't like using Unobtainium in any form (e.g. 'artifacts of unexplainable power'), but in lieu of an alternate texture for emerald things, I'm trying to figure out a type of pre-war technology that matches the pictures and is useful enough to villagers to trade on a person-to-person level, but non-essential enough to be given away for other non-essential items. Any ideas?
*While we're on the subject of tuberculosis, isn't it an airborne disease? And the Masked wear... masks? I'm having a little trouble wrapping my head around this.

No one ever said they had very good mask, for all we know they may not even have filters. Also they may be extremely weak from this disease so maybe they would pay this stuff to a healthy (and Immune) adventurer to just harvest some water or pay some scrap that could in turn be traded for something better (we all know how greedy these guys are). But ya if needed a substitute could be made perhaps some sort of green computer chips like mother boards that kind of stuff could be usefull for someone in their position.
I'd be happiest if villager trading were based on bartering instead of on some random ore that I have to deliberately hunt down using methods outside my standard high-efficiency diamond mining. :\
But that's getting into the realm of modding. Since villager trading is what I'm stuck with, I have to think in terms of things that could be used in place of proper currency in a bleak, heavily survival-oriented world. Much like cookies before jungle biomes, medicine is a highly consumable commodity. You can't have your hydrazine and... eat it too?
Hmm. One thing that you could put on the LAST DAYS site is a section for texture patches, much like bdcraft.net has. This would serve basically the same purpose. People can start up requests for patches, and those competent and capable enough who also feel up to the task can do so. Once finished, they can start up a post there to release their patch for whatever mod they're adding support to.
That seems like one of the more obvious choices, so you may have already thought of this. Apologies if I'm suggesting nothing new.
Next, a lore page or set of pages. This lore page(s) would be an archive of sorts of the events transpired up to now that explain much of why the world has fallen into such ruin.
If I think of anything more, I'll post it. I'm a bit tired at the moment.

I used to maintain the Minecraft Forums Mod List. However, life has stepped in the way of that. Perhaps later...
I made 2 textures for the Last Days texture pack. It's a Water Container (Hay Bale) (Sides are animated, and could someone make a better top texture, I suck at making graffiti-type fonts)
