I'm trying everything, but the Sound Pack isn't a .zip or .audiotory. I don't know how it would work. I tried to convert it into .zip but the sounds aren't... there. Any other ways...?

sounds aren't there, are you sure your download wasn't corrupted that happens from time to time for me and the file downloads empty. So the only advice I can think of is to redownload.
Hey, mostly people! I'm back with some of the latest news from Blackwater
-is the lore page still being updated? i haven't seen anything new up there lately-
but anyway, onward with the new stuff
PulseFire Laser: (Mining Laser)
Ah now here's a real beauty, no longer must you fumble around with those old fashioned Fire Arms and their clumsy bolts, by redirecting the energy discharges from the charge rod to a high voltage, this weapon fires highly concentrated bolts of energy capable of burning through anything from sheet metal to bandits. it even comes with many different configurations for the discharge strength and pattern, making the versetile PulseFire well worth the investment. although due to the high concentraton of the beams, it does use a lot of energy really quickly and must be recharged often
SurgeBlade Sabre (Nano-Sabre)
Looking for something with a bit more finesse? Using the same designs from the PulseFire but reconfiguring the beam emitters, they have created a new melee weapon. at first looking like a simple blade, turning the SurgeBlade on charges the blade with high energy particles, effectively making it a beam sword with a metal core.
Flak Vest (Composite Armor)
although not necessarily new technology, this salvaged bulletproof vest is of Pre-Event millitary technology and provides excellent resistance to explosives of most kinds, so now you can go laugh at those huggatrons as they blow up, although they probably won't understand you, seeing as their voice processors have been missing for ages...
Along with these millitant technologies, explorers from around Blackwater have been finding strange alien artifacts and reserch has had some startling breakthroughs.(thaumcraft lore incoming)
Alien Atrifacts (Elemental Shards)
while exploring deep in the old H.I.V.E.s,some scavengers found strange glowing shards imbedded in the walls, obviously out of place, these shards were taken up to the Academy for research, and were found to be of alien origin, not much is known about them except that they seem to come in red, yellow, green, blue and purple colours, although the difference between them is not known.
Eldrian Rod (Apprentice Wand)
through experimentation, the shards were found to have a strange otherworldly power flowing through them, binding these shards to rods with gold, scientists managed to find a way to direct this power, although not very efficiently. Still much is to be learned of these aliens (nicknamed the Eldrich) and what they left behind.
Elemental Composition( Essentia and Crucible)
By directing the power from the Rod at an ordinary cauldron(they were getting rather desperate to find something that it would work on) the cauldron was transformed into a strange device that, when heated, seperated anything thrown into them down into it's basic elemental composition.

Oh no, the sounds are there. What I meant was that the sound pack isn't in the Audiotori GUI menu for me to pick. Since the sound pack is a .rar, Audiotori won't take it. It needs to be a .zip or a .audiotori file. :/ Solutions..?

hmmm well what do you use winrar, 7zip, or some other type of file converter. ( I personally use Izarc) But you would need one or any of those to convert the file into a .zip format, for me Izarc i just right click the file and hit convert but I have no idea how any other file converter might do it....

I have 7zip. But even converting the file into a .zip won't work. I press F9 and the sound pack won't show up in the Audiotori menu. And when it does happen to show up, I play it, but the original MC sounds are played rather than the Last Days sound pack.

now let me ask you this, did you extract the sound pack from the .rar?

cool hey froman btw do you think we could take your goggles of revealing and make them the night vision goggles because they don't really fit with the light purple color of all the thaumcraft stuff.

I extracted it, then tried converting it into a .zip. Placed it in the Audiotori folder in .minecraft. It didn't work, didn't show up in the Audiotori GUI. I tried converting the .rar itself into a .zip, didn't work either...

auditori can't read the file if it is in a .zip , .rar etc
just extract it as the raw file and leave it, don't compress it into a zip or rar

You mean this purple
and about the thaumcraft stuff being all purple i was going to go in and modify them as the current TC textures seem more futuristic than scavenger tech

Can somebody do Mod Support for CustomNPCs? I'm planning on making a huge adventure map using this texturepack that follows the whole wasteland/ruined/end of the world scenario. CustomNPCs is great for adventure maps, so if someone could do at least the items, not the armour, it would be very appreciated I helped do some of the CustomNPCs support for Dokucraft, it has fun textures to make If you can't, that's fine, but thanks anyway
Hey I am doing the same exact thing! Already build two towns, and have a cool story to follow. Glad to see other people embracing the mod and texture pack!
I love this texture pack! The collaborators have done an incredible job.
In a previous post, I had mentioned that I was building the USG Ishimura from Dead Space using the pack. I am happy to announce that it is finally available for download here. It's about 90% complete.
This was built on a server where I have been spreading the word about Last Days. So far, everyone that downloads it now uses it as their primary texture. Thank you for making such an amazing pack!

Dude, weren't you working on twilight forest texures?
Yes, I'm going to wait until it's updated to 1.5.1 to finish them, incase it adds more stuff.
EDIT: It is, I'm gonna continue working on it.
Hey mate, tell me when Balkon's weapon mod updates.

wow okay thanks for telling me
Even with the raw file it still doesn't work. There's gotta be something wrong. . .
