So I was wondering one day, "Why aren't the blocks in Minecraft animated?" So after about a half-hour on Paint.net, and some Google research on Minecraft block animation, I decided to make an animated Minecraft texture pack, where it looks like the default textures, but with animated blocks!

This is only an experiment I did to learn how to animate blocks, but I decided that if the forum people like it, I would add more animated blocks! All I have currently are 3 blocks: glowing redstone ore, shiny gold ore, and pulsating glowstone.

If you would like me to make this into a full set of animated blocks, just let me know in the poll!

take a screenshot when is moving and when its not

support, keep going, you should animate jackolantern and torch next!

a lot of the animations cant be noticed using pictures, most are subtle, but noticable when in game

I been looking on how to make animated blocks, can you tell me/give me a link on how to do it thank you!

You should try to make the redstone and glowstone pulse more slowly. Just add more frames.
Also, animate the burning furnace.
And oh god, your avatar gave me a nostalgiagasm.

what would be cool if you animated the blocks like someone has done heres a link to a video made by PieDudeAus (video is made by him)
