Even if they are just a template, you still need permission, because you are using the textures in a download. If he didn't upload the download it would be fine, but since he did, it's like taking the textures, even as a template. As long as he has permission its fine.
Well I didn't mean to make it a problem, just asking if you got permission. Also it should be easy to get the permission because the texturepack makers who made those textures usually say yes to templates.

The redstone looks very.... weird?
Also the glowstone looks very dreary, think brighter!
Decent pack otherwise.
The ore, or the line of redstone? if it's the line it's like that cause it's a cartoony pack. And i'll add an alternate to it if it looks weird to enough people :biggrin.gif:
I feel the same way! Realistic packs don't really look good to me :\ kinda takes that whole "Minecraft" Feel away from it. And thanks for the feedback! :biggrin.gif:
