hey 42 will you ever do alt textures to the stone/coble textures that has less of a green shadow?
there is no green shadow.
That's a highlight, and no because I have 32 colors to work with and only two grays. This means that either all my stone textures will be crazy dark or you get blue highlights.

It's actually kind of shocking how quickly I can get these out. I'm averaging about 15-25 minutes per texture.
Anyway, look forward to the next update.

Wow.... This texture pack shows Minecraft in a whole new light. The art in this is extra-ordinary, making everything look utterly stunning. When completed, this pack will be amazing. The only issues I could see were occasional rough edges, where you hadn't cut the paper off as close as you should, but I appreciate that doing that must be incredibly hard to do. I will be sure to tell my friends about this.
My rating for the pack as it is now:
4.5/5
Awesome, Thanks for the short reveiw. I appreciate this kind of feedback.
A little secret. The only cutting I do is to cut the art paper roughly in half so the sheet will fit in my scanner. All the rest is done in photoshop. My plan is to get the entire pack out before going back through and polishing up some of the little bugs with the textures. However, if you are talking about the doors not lining up in the frames that's staying that way.
Eventually I may end up streaming myself working that way you can all see my process. (I have a webcam so I could even record the drawing part.)
OMG I love the hand drawn look! Reeds look a bit too much like a gradient though, do you think you could redo them styled more like the rest of the pack?

If you're looking at the reeds in the old screenshots they are from another pack of mine I was using them as a placeholder for a while. The current reeds are default.

I will be releasing an update either today or tomorrow. (most likely tomorrow).
It will not be a big update because my base grey and brown pens have run out of ink. Mostly I will be fixing up a few textures and making things look better all around.

Really nice work, I love the idea and the style. It fits better with MC than a photorealistic approach. I noticed some white pixels though e.g. the ladder and you shlould make the inke more blackin my opinion. But great job, keep it on.
I haven't tried this pack out yet, but I must say that I love the overall "Muted brightness" and hand drawn elements of this pack. I kept seeing the banner on some of your posts in other topics and I had to come check out the pack itself.
Off-topic: Your location wouldn't be in reference to the Dark Tower would it?

yea, I plan on fixing those stray pixels and such in the next update.

Indeed it would. 'tis also where the chassit hails from.
Thanks for the comments. I'm am a tad but frustrated with the muted part to be honest. You should see the drawings in person. In comparison this pack fails. A lot of the vibrancy is lost during scan and try though I might I cannot restore it completely.
42and29,the textures are rather nice, but I,like someone else said,am not very fond of the red wood. The smooth stone likes kinda awkward, too.Still,I downloaded it.Keep up the good work,my friend.

The smooth stone is in the que for a rework. In fact I have reworked almost all of my original textures. As for wood. I MAY make an alt for that but it is unlikely.

Anyway, this pack is AMAZING. Could you pm me when it is 100% done?

Thanks, and sure I will try to remember. It may be a few months from now, But I will do the best I can
I added the recent sheet to the op so you can look at the textures pre-edit.
Edit:
Apparently Adf.ly is down so please use the mediafire link and ignore my....guilting comments.

That saddens me slightly. I've been on the forum for a little over a year and have released about 6 packs, most of which have been discontinued.
Sadly none of them were ever extremely popular. My artwork tends to be....odd and doesn't appeal to a large crowd.
It is good to see a new face though and thank you for the comment.
Thanks, I put a lot of thought into each texture so it is nice to hear that.

I'm glad my banner is working.
I listen to Gorillaz while making textures.

Curse PremiumI like using sharpies, so this naturally looks good to me.
Cobble is too sharp though. More roundness needed.

Nope, that's the 7th version of cobble I am not doing another one.
