I'm back. Sort of. I won't be perusing the forums like I used to but I will be watching this thread.
I couldn't stay away from this pack. I've been working on it quite a bit lately; Improving some of the old textures and making a few new ones. As soon as I have top grass done I hope to release this pack.
Anyway, here are some screenshots of some of the new textures.

Possibly remnant, but not any of the others. It takes me about 4 hours per texture for this pack and I won't have the time to work on anything else time consuming. (remnant takes an average of 15 minutes per texture so that is relatively easy to update)

I can't begin to express how happy I am that you and this pack are back! The new textures are beautiful! There are just a few tiny white gaps, but this is just glorious!

One thing, I'm not that fond of the redish planks
Don't forget jimmy this is a sharpie pack, so 42 has a limited color palette to work with. I believe the alternative would be using option would be using one of the other colors over, but I agree that it looks lovely....you should see the flowers!!!!
42 please get this finished ASAP! The default textures shouldn't be allowed to touch yours.
Edit: the iPad makes me sound psychotic or drunk half the time!

I did layer colors with the planks, otherwise they would be RED!!!! rather than just reddish,

No, that's a good edit. However, I may use that work in a portfolio piece sometime down the road and I don't want there to be any debate over the ownership of the textures. I know you wouldn't cause problems but there is always the chance that you may abandon the continuation sometime down the road and someone else might pick it up. That's not a risk I want to take.

Yea, I'm either going to completely overhaul the cobble or touch up that spot before release. I also want to clean up some of the more obvious white spots on the textures.
On another note, I now have a banner. So, if you want to spread the work of this high quality pack (I hope anyway) feel free to use the bbcode in the op or below.

Practice I guess, I don't really know honestly. I'm constantly looking at some of these textures (like birch) and going "how the **** did I do that?!?"

I'm going to do a release today. I have about 1/4 to 1/3 of the terrain.png done and I figure it's time to get some real test feedback. I will have the download links up in about an hour and hopefully I will get this thread moved to the other forum.
I'm 99.9% sure this will be the ONLY drawn pack that isn't loaded with a huge amount of tiling issues, and I'm 100% sure this is hands down THE BEST drawn pack, and completely blows the others out of the water.

Yea, I can see that, I MAY redo the side-grass at a later date. However, I am really bad at grass and leaves and such so I may not.
