i'm trying to make a texture pack right now (it's mostly a remix for personal use). i'm trying to go for some realism, and i've hit a snag because of clay. default clay is white and turns into red bricks. does gray clay IRL turn red when fired? i've noticed a lot of other texture packs use red clay, which makes sense to me, but i'm not certain if it is realistic?
so which is more realistic? gray clay that turns red when fired, or red clay that stays red?

Cast aside your festive doylaks: dragon stuff is about to happen.
