I like it and meant it to be dark. Maybe once I finish I will make a lighter version somewhat like Dokucraft. I hadn't thought of that, thanks for the idea.
Wow. I must say this has come a long ways since I last saw it. Everything looks great, (w/ the exception of the out of place feeling place holders) I really do look forward to the completely finished product.
Before you continue reading this please know that I mean these all as constructive criticism and questions. Also these are a bit long note wise because I don't actually post that often. (Usually I just read posts, I mean how else can one explain my low post count and the length of time I have been a member on this forum?)
On that note;
-Is the current chest just a place holder or is it the finished product? because it seems a bit too plain to me and my artistic tastes.
-Also the tree trunks look odd. Especially the birch, it just seems a little too unnatural. While it may have use as a building material looking like that, it just seems a little too odd finding a forest of those. In my opinion a balance between straight lines and the one in the texture for the other pack you are working on may be better. As for the pine and jungle they have bark that while different shades, it just seems too similar to the oak.
-I know you are aiming for a dark styled pack, and I do enjoy those, however the solid ore blocks (to be specific Iron, Diamond, and gold blocks) are a bit too dark. What I mean is that the gold and diamond blocks at a distance look exactly like brick blocks in other packs. I am not saying they are the same mind you, I just mean that at a distance it seems that way. I personally wouldn't mind if those textures were brighter then everything else and stood out more (gold and diamond esp.) since they are harder to get a hold of.
-Like the chest I am assuming the furnace, clay, note block/juke box, dispenser, jungle sapling*, melon/pumpkin stem*, snow block cauldron, book case, side grass, work bench, mycelium blocks*, END blocks* are all WIP. Because they are either missing, too plain looking compared to the rest of the pack, or just seem off when compared to the rest of the pack. (yes the last two are different, I try not to repeat myself)
-Also why is there a spot in the water on the texture png you posted last (the one you posted on the 29th of April to be specific)?
Thanks for all the hard work you have been putting into this. Once again I will reiterate (since all that critiquing probably wasn't great for morale) the point that I really do like how this pack has been turning out. I just had a few minor suggestions, questions and concerns, so feel free to ignore them if you like.
Been working on my other pack, Piratecraft and haven't updated in a while. I'm thinking of reworking all the textures to be specifically fantasy. I would call it "A zamaj fantasy" or "zamaj fantasy." What does everyone think?
A LOT

I haven't updated in a while, and I'll put up a new download after I complete a little more. Very close to complete!
Here's the terrain:
And here's the very terrain for another pack I working on, called Piratecraft.
