So I have been working on a custom texture pack. When I want to test it, I compress it into a .zip file, and put it in the texture packs folder. However, when I start up Minecraft and go into the texture packs menu, it has the "Unknown pack.png" from the minecraft.jar even though I have made a custom pack.png. I click on it and try to use it, and it selects it but the textures stay default. I am running on Windows Vista so please no explenations for Mac, I haven't the foggiest on how to use one of those. I am just wondering am I missing some files(I know I have all the right folders from the .jar)from the folders. I'm quite confused, as it seems that downloaded texture packs have all the same files.
Take a mansion that looks amazing. Now WorldEdit it into diamond blocks. It looks horrible now, yet some people still say it's amazing. I don't get it.
