Try making blocks look different to default. If I wanted a default pack, I'd use the default pack (or some form of a retouched default pack).
They ARE different, but they're not horribly changed so that they're obscure! They look SIMILAR to the old objects, though they're clearly NOT the original. Take Cobble for example. Clearly it's cobblestone, but there's too many cobbles in it to be the default one! A lot of the blocks are only BASED on the original's looks, but I put my own spin on it~
So, you're going to come on to the pack, that DESIGNED to immediately resemble the original blocks but have my own style applied, and say that I should make my own designs, and half-advertise your own texture pack just because it has the same basic idea?
Looks amazing so far I think its much better than default.
But the red mushroom looks more like wool, you could add some white spots.
