Oh, and also; in photoshop, if you try to shrink something; go to "Image size", then set the image size, then on the bottom change the resample image to nearest neighbor.
I just found that out, thought I'd share :P....unless you already know.
I've run into something of a roadblock. I'm trying to make it so the top block of sugarcane looks different from the rest, but I can't seem to figure out vertical connected textures, and I've yet to find any examples of it in a form I can actually reference.
As far as other stuff, I've nearly finished the Enderchicken, I've finished the armor, and forgotten to upload it in the several weeks it has already been done, I learned all sorts of fancy texturing possibilities (custom lighting, anyone?), made glass work properly using CTM, and I've practiced animating a bit, so I may be able to do stuff like that. Waving grass, perhaps?
Hm... Looking into Misa's pack, while there is vertical connected sugarcane, I can't find a properties file for it.
Custom lighting allows for three kinds of light.
Artificial, being torches, furnaces, lava, and every other placeable light source.
Natural sunlight, which is... Natural sunlight.
And natural moonlight.
Custom Nether portal animations are certainly possible.
And I don't think I really am all that great. I'm decent at making cartoony textures, and I look stuff up. That's all.

All of it sounds, great, I can't wait. As for the waving grass; I don't really think so. If people (Such as me) have the shaders on (Waving grass) it would look weird...
BTW, a suggested something for optifine which was added to the to-do list. This would allow us to make the stones on top of the grass to be gray. I hope he adds it soon

Should I start on that now, or wait until the rest of the pack is "done"?

I think after we have at least one texture for every item/block/GUI (Including 1.3) then you should work on mod support, unless the textures are pretty simple.
Are you still in Spain (curiosity) ? And I want to ask you if you have any critisme for the the textures I've done so far ? Is there anything that could be changed/bettered in your opinion ?
Yes I'm still in spain I don't have 24/7 acces to the internet (Thats why I havent updated the pack yet)
