I'm surprised you guys didn't fix rain or lava! I'm surprised at you!
Really though, I'd be more than glad to help. I don't do 32x32 either, as I excel in items rather than terrain, but if you want, I'm sure I can handle rain, items, and miscellaneous stuff.
What do you mean by "fix rain or lava"? Is there something wrong with them aside from being default? If there is, I can't see it (lava) or my computer is too terrible for me to check (rain).

And at the risk of sounding like a jerk, it gets REALLY annoying seeing transparency issues. I would be infinitely appreciative if you would take any possible action against them, because they result in some VERY ugly sights. Such as the animated torches flickering random pixels detached from the torch/flame on certain frames.
For the time being, I'll shut up and work on some more mobs.

Change rain to the same texture as the water in the particles. It might look odd, but nothing a smaller resolution and minor color tweaks won't fix.
Suggestions incoming!
As for lava, I thought you could change the texture of lava with MCP?
Art could use, at the very least, Post 217's picture.
Snow could also use Scribblenaut's snow texture.
Zombie's texture is a bit too smooth/bright neon.
I can see that many of these textures have more obvious counterparts that I don't see implemented (or is this just a version issue?) fishing rod hook, gold nugget, ghast tear, cauldron, dyes, axes, fishing rod, gunpowder, wheat, painting, cookie, buckets, bowls, compass, clock, paper, clay (both), reeds, bed, seeds, map, sugar, doors, potion, and hoes.
I'd suggest using Maxwell's Notebook texture for the Book, and maybe the Scribblenauts classic-version Knife as shears.
I can make most if not all of these if these are changes that would be accepted.
Pretty much any suggestion is fine. In both Minecraft and Scribblenauts, the ability to do whatever you want is pretty much the centerpiece of the entire thing, so why would it be any different with a combination of the two?
I'll make an alternate zombie skin using the actual game's colors, but it (probably) won't replace the existing one. I'll also try to shove a bunch of art in the paintings file, possibly using fanart if needed.
The reason so many obvious things are unchanged is probably that everyone's just been focusing on other stuff.
And yeah, you can change lava with both MCPatcher and Optifine.
They're both good, but vines need to tile sideways too, otherwise you'll get this on certain wall/ceiling combos. http://u.cubeupload....20401173118.png

No offense taken. 1) I'm no great texture artist 2) I just uploaded it so you guys would get a look at what I was doing 3) Youaregreaterthenmeatmaingtextures
And for the vines, I didn't realize they did that on ceilings...back to the drawing board...or letting you redo them 999 times better....option two is better
Did Magma cubes, cave spiders, more chickens, zombie pigmen (alien, robot, robot zombie), new zombie (If you want to replace the original.), and art. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/65462272/STUFFNESS.zip
I'm not sure what else could be made for slimes. Aside from different colored slimes, nothing I can think of would work for them. I'm currently working on armor and villagers. http://u.cubeupload.com/Melty/20120404190805.png

Curse PremiumI'd probably end up making everything dragons.
I'm gonna test the latest skins and then upload them immediately after, assuming they all turn out alright.http://dl.dropbox.com/u/65462272/STUFFNESS.zip

Curse PremiumWell for me water and lava is this still annoying water and lava...so ya it would be nice if it was fixed/made.
Also, when you have some time Sirmelty could you try to stop the chests from flickering? I was looking at it and didn't know how to fix it....
Ohh, the pack has been updated with the new mobs...I love the dragon creeper XD

Curse PremiumOn the subject of me redoing the vines: If I were to do that, they would be mossy cobblestone minus the cobblestone.
