[Help] Editing Armor within a texture.

Hey I am trying to edit an armour within the texture so I can make chainmail (In the texturepack)an assasin outfit.

How do i do this?

Please tell me breifly.

In your minecraft.jar
look for "armor" then open it
then choose Chain 1
and Chain 2
edit them both

Make a folder on your desktop and call it your texturepack name. Then drag 'Armor' in there and edit 'chain1' and 'chain2'

Then drag any other folders from minecraft.jar in the folder and edit them.
