when i play my textures in minecraft look like they are off center. The torches have white lines above them and other non transparent blocks allow me to see through the world.
This happens when i play completely legit no mods or texture packs.
To me, that simply looks like bad PC specs... check the terrain file in the .jar if you can and see if there it looks like how it does in game, if not, then it's probably a bad PC, unless you can tell me your specs.

I'm not ComputerGeekPro3000 or anything, but I know that my old PC is better... Oh, and is it XP, Vista or 7, because I didn't catch that part in there :wink.gif: but it could be a matter of a not-up-to-standard computer.
windows 7
also i can run minecrft at 100 or so fps so my computer isn't the problem.
Well, did you ever try to edit the default texture? And if so, did you just use Paint? And if not, do try looking into the terrain file and see what's in there.
i've deleted my .minecraft folder and i have never used pain on the terrain.png
