Ok, so I got optifine like you said to, booted up you're pack... and then my prone-to-overheating computer crashed XD. Will the next version come with a free Acer Aspire (good, but hot when you run chrome, minecraft, steam, etc... all together) cooling module?

I don't think I have that sort of thing. You either need to get a better computer some time in the future, or I could try to make a 64x version for you.

Hey, just downloaded the update and now the GUI text is, well, FUBAR. (F***ed Up Beyond All Recognition). I think others are having this issue as well, will there be a patch later for that?
Also, I had an idea respecting the pumpkin-HUD texture: why not have the default HUD be the pumpkin one, and when you put the pumpkin on it switches to the Thermal Visor or something? Just a thought...maybe even have it so you can see blocks of TNT inside creepers xD

Could you tell me exactly what GUI(s) have been FUBAR so I can look into it? also thanks on the compliment for the glowstone. The pumpkin HUD is something I am trying to get fixed, though apparently the vignette.png is an HUD that only shows up VERY slightly in shadowed areas, now as the pumpkinblur.png (the pumpkin HUD when you put it on) is an overlay which means it will only affect what you see at face value, thus seeing a tnt inside a creeper is impossible unless I were to texture the creeper itself for it to look like there is tnt inside of it. Also, making the thermal visor is going to be near impossible at the moment...

Yeah there are different versions of optifine. Mcpatcher also provides hd support, except it doesn't have the view zooming function.
