Ooh, love the items. Every time I look at this pack, I forget that it's actually 16x. You've crammed more detail into those 256 pixels than I've seen in many HD packs.

You're not the only one who forgets it's 16x-- I've had several people say recently 'You're so good at 32x! Especially Enchanted and Feathersong'. I find it a very big compliment. :3
First, might I just say that this is definitely the best 16x texture pack I've ever seen. The fact that it's 16x is almost shocking! And I can't wait to see what you do with the different colored woods in 1.2.4, and the new sandstone as well.
Also, I'm working on an enormous medieval map with lots and lots of cities and things, and I'm going to recommend highly that people use this pack for the map. (If that's alright with you, of course.)

Because I havent updated to 1.2.4 yet, I'm still using this. I thought I'd let you know about a little project that I put on PMC which uses your texture pack in the screenshots, with the obligatory link here, of course.
I'm interested to see what you do with the new wood, too, considering I've been wanting different wood types in Minecraft recently.
EDIT: Something I'd personally like to see is a red-tinted wood. Maybe this wouldn't fit with your logs, though...
I'm going to do a red-tinted wood. I like cherry hardwood floors too much not to.
Hey, I'm looking forward to the 1.2.4 update for this TP!
Also have you ever thought about making a diagonal trellis design as an alternative to the iron bars? They'd be nice for fancy gardens :3
I don't think I could pull that off with 16x. Diagonals with 16x look jagged, which works well for a chain-link fence, but not for a wooden trellis. Besides, it would be kind of odd to find wooden trellises decorating the insides of strongholds anyway.
Wow, simply amazing the best 16x16 i've seen, can't wait to see what you do with the new textures. A question to end off, do you prefer working on this pack or your other 32x32 pack?
I prefer working on whichever pack annoys me the least at that particular moment. As you can probably imagine, the title of most annoying pack rotates. Sometimes on a daily basis.

They're not strongholds, they're underground craft shops.

Asking you was worth a try haha. I personally wouldn't mind the jaggedness since I think that's just the nature of 16x as well as part of its charm. I suppose I might try texturing it myself, but I doubt it'd turn out very good. My skills with pixel art are rather rudimentary.
In any case, thank you for answering anyways. Still looking forward to all future updates! This is one of my favorite texture packs.
Great! It will take quite a while, (I'm estimating about 3 months or so, it's a pretty big map and only me and a friend are working on it.) but I will definitely recommend this pack in the forum post.
Could you make a diagonal chain-link fence then? I don't like the current one too much in my garden, but it's all right if you don't want to.
edit: I used your texturepack in a video,
Lovely video! I like the music. I'd put it in the OP except for the pink blocks. >.<
And I'll think about the chain link fence thing. Although I'm mainly concerned with updating for 1.2.4 at the moment.
I'm still loving this pack, haha.
No pressure or anything, but can you tell me an estimate of when the 1.2.4 version is going to be finished?
Like I promised, I am going to make a video of this texture pack as well, but if the 1.2.4 version is coming up I'd rather wait for that.
Also, when did you become a moderator? haha. It could be my flawed memory though, but I can't remember you as one.
Anyway, take your time for the update. When it's done, I'll make the video.

Yay! I can't wait for you to do a video of this pack. :3
I haven't worked on 1.2.4 textures for this pack yet, but it's on my to-do list for tomorrow.
I tried to make each of the new types of planks as realistic as possible, hence the light color of the pine and the splotchiness of the birch. Also, the jungle wood (mahogany) is oriented vertically, so you can make nice rich paneling from it. ^^
Here's the pine planks in a darker shade. I'll put them on the customizer.
New textures look great, good work on the items, too! I especially like the pine wood. Well done.
Also, am I derping or did you change the texture of stone bricks?
(regular old ones, not the new circley ones, although those look good too )

I did indeed change the stone bricks. I realized that the original ones didn't make me yearn to use them, and thus they needed a makeover.

*tips hat*
That will look nice! Glad to see someone putting the new planks to use in a creative way.
I thought so, I like them more now, they seem shinier and newer, and stand out a bit more from the regular stone. Again, well done.
