this texture looks great! Although if I was going to give any crtitcism I'd say that the stone bricks look more like cobble stone and the cobble stone looks like stone bricks. But I can live with that
This looks amazing and totally worth a comment that was not demanded of me!
I'll just look at the .pngs and comment on what I can see. *ahem*
Let's go down the list and say what we think of the textures. Assume anything not commented on is a "Amazing".
:ohmy.gif: you didn't change the TNT! I will hate you forever and ever and ever and ever and I'm joking, it looks out of place obviously, but not many people will notice in the interim between now and you adding a texture for it, I'd say.
Is the cobweb changed? I can't really tell
Ooh, dark green leaves on saplings, much more impressive than the "Hey! Look! I'm ultra vvibrant green!" default sapling.
Oooh, I'd love to see this steel block tiling. Such a shame that it uses the same texture on the top as well as the sides, 'cause that means there'll be a cut if you view it the right way, but it is still amazing
Unchanged. I know nobody is going to see the chest textures, but you might want to change it to a colour similar to your actual ones, because it still uses the chest texture in the terrain.png when you are breaking a chest.
I'm not really a fan of small mushrooms, makes them hard to notice. If you were going to make one of the mushrooms small, I'd say make the brown one small, because it emits light, so makes it harder to miss.
Oh noes! The books felleds over!
Hmm, the mossy cobblestone looks to be of lighter tone than the normal cobblestone, I'd be interested in seeing them side-by-side to see the colour change.
Ooh a grating in the furnace, don't see many people using those. Though most people seem to forget that the default furnace has two holes, and for a reason. Because you put the flaming stuff in the bottom hole, and put the stuff you want cooked in the top, to keep them seperate, yet close enough for one to cook the other. And I question how you would fit a 1m^3 block of stone mixed with raw iron ore in between those bars, but GAME LOGIC. (Amazing)
Ooh that's a small piece of diamond. How devilish of you steelfeathers :wink.gif:
Hmm, while the other ores simply seem like natural seams or growths or veins or whatever from the stone, this seems like something that is actively seeping through the stone, and something a bit more than your average ore. Fitting for RedStone.
Wow, that fern looks extremely full of detail for something with so few pixels.
Did you change the bottom of the cactus? Not like it matters, nobody ever really see it anyway.
The iron door seems to have a fair bit of wood in it, which seems interesting, but still looks amazing :smile.gif:
in the .png, the On RedStone Torch doesn't seem to look that different from Off, but I'm sure it's much easier to tell the difference in-game, since it produces light, has particle effects, and isn't inside Windows Photo Viewer.
Here are those amazing melons you've been teasing us with for so long :wink.gif:
Wow, this mushroom stalk seems to have overlapping scale-like things.
Don't think I've seen a black/gold enderportal before, looks awesome :biggrin.gif:
Now THAT brewing stand looks like it can concoct up some really nasty ****.
I bet you must have had lots of fun making these wools, I know they are the best part of making every pack /sarcasm
Ah yes, here is that tile-pattern Lapis Lazuli block you showed. Is the purple square meant to have 1 blue pixel in it?
Aha, you made use of the RedStone Overlay! Not many people use that, and I'm sure it produces pretty cool results.
Wow, the detector rail actually looks like it is a detector device strapped to the minecart tracks, I don't think I recall anyone else doing something like that!
Once again, going against the grain, with your netherbricks seeming to go vertical! What surprises will you think of next.
White Netherwart? I would definately want to see this in-game, considering that the nether is usually filled with reds and a few browns, a vivid white would be sight to see.
Though to be fair most Netherwart is inside, so not something that sticks out in the open expanses of death.
Enjoy, ma'am. I'll go back to admiring the pretty textures now.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Theevilpplz is so fabulous, hetrosexual men turn bi when he passes by.
Huzzah! Downloading, try to give whatever feedback I can after I play around with it.
Edit:
Love all of the torches.
Love how to sort of dark wood part of the ladders, looks right next to the bright rope part.
Love all of the flowers.
Love all of the ores and their respective blocks.
Love the cobblestone.
Love the pistons.
Love the dragon egg.
Love the end portal.
love the bed.
One thing bothers me though, I feel the lever should have some sort of tip. Not a big and I really like this pack. 16x packs are a real minority in my texture pack folder, and I'm really glad this is in there.

Ah, you are correct. The lever should have a tip. I shall correct that oversight post-haste.
Could the huge of either cobble or stone bricks change slightly so we can easily distinguish? And mainly the chests are far too JoliCraft for me, they dont fit in with the dark wood of this pack at all. Other than that. love it. :smile.gif:
First, I'm glad you like the pack and took the time to download and comment. :smile.gif:
Second, to all the chest haters out there: Tough. I like them.
Seriously, don't you guys ever get tired of having the same shade for the planks and the crafting box and the noteblock and the piston and the hatch and the rails and the door and the ladder and the bed and the chest?
I made the chests for this pack the way I did so that they would compliment the other textures rather than simply match the other textures. I think they give the pack some variety and richness that a plain plank-door-workbench-hatch colored chest could not achieve. And I'm certain that you guys will come to appreciate them after you have used the pack for a while.

-Nope, cobweb isn't changed. With 16x, I think default looks fine.
-Ah, good point about the chest.
-But you see, big red mushrooms are smaller than big brown mushrooms. Ergo, small red mushrooms should be smaller than small brown mushrooms. :3 (And I think I'm the only person on the forums that likes small mushrooms, hehe)
-Yes, that one blue pixel is purposeful and intended, placed with upmost care upon the purple block. /troll
-The white netherwort gives a nice contrast to the dark, red-ish tones of the nether, me thinks. :smile.gif:
this texture looks great! Although if I was going to give any crtitcism I'd say that the stone bricks look more like cobble stone and the cobble stone looks like stone bricks. But I can live with that
I'm not sure why you think that, since the stone bricks are far larger than the cobblestone.... but oh well, I'm happy you like the rest! :biggrin.gif:
I'm not hating on the chest, Steel - just offering an opinion. I'm sure they'll grow on me. :smile.gif:
Sorry, I'm just protective of my chests. Didn't mean to metaphorically pounce on you.
But you'll probably get your wish-- if enough people raise a stink about it (or decide, after testing, that they still don't like it) I'll probably end up making an alt anyway. :smile.gif:
I logged on today and I was like, "FeatherSong? WHAT? IT'S HERE! ? WKLJHUIOZRHLWEKRJ>:WKJRØ>WFIOHL:FEKL!!!!"
andthenmybrainexplodedoutofpureawesomnessbutnotreally.
Good job :biggrin.gif:
Ah, now there's a nice reaction. :biggrin.gif: (just don't have a seizure, mkay?)
I worked on this for the past two days until I just about puked from texture overload. 0_e
So suffice it to say, I'm ecstatic that you're ecstatic. ^^
Well, now there's the jungle sapling you can texture :laugh.gif:
Anyway, amazing pack. Can you include the alt cobblestone maybe?
I just about beat my head against the wall when I saw that there was something else to texture. WHY JEB? WHY?
I'm going to have to go take a break and hibernate somewhere far away from texture-making for a while....
Also, I haven't made a (decent) mossy alt cobble yet, so I'll have to get that done first. But when I do I'll put up the alt cobble as well. :smile.gif:
Lol. Who's having a seizure?
But really, this is like the best day ever.
1. 12 [Danish top grade] in English class, both verbal and written!
2. Feathercraf- I mean, Feathersong released!
3. Cats in Minecraft, what are the odds.
4. My mother bought me a movie about Edith Piaf! :biggrin.gif:
5. I finally cleaned my room!
6. No bully at school pushed me even once!
7, the only donwside; My customizer was broken :sad.gif:
~I like cats.
Well, I'm glad I could make your day even better. :biggrin.gif:
....no I didn't. Unless you're playing 1.7.3 and below, the chests aren't on the terrain.png anymore. Go play with the pack. The chests are there, I promise.
I like chests too! Actually, it was strange, it didn't take anytime at all for them to grow on me, I just saw them, and fell in love with them. Strange.
Awesome work! Love the new name and especially the ice. Nothing in this pack really bothers me enough (not even the chest- I actually think it's a pretty cool approach with it being light colored as opposed to all the dark ones out there). Can't wait to see what you'll surprise us with the items. :smile.gif:
Got anything in mind of the style of the items yet? Not rushing you or asking them, just wondering what style you were thinking of? Like, if they were to be an RPG style or have a sensible look to them.

Curse PremiumI don't really like the nether bricks though, they just seem a little off to me...

Yay! Send me a link when you have one uploaded?
So does this mean that one of my packs finally gets a spot on your 'favorite texture pack' list? *winkwinknudgenudge*
