No Compatibility Mode? Well, that certainly takes PhotoShop CS2 off the menu...

I wouldn't cancel, but I would certainly delay for as long as you can. It's a better OS than Windows 8. But DANG did they not vet it very well with non-Microsoft software.
Wolfhound is ready for the next release. I'm 80% sure I got all the new textures, at least. I'll probably have to do the other packs when I get home from vacation.
The windows 10 upgrade went terrible. Nothing worked, including photoshop. I had to do a soft clean install. Preserved my data, but wiped out all my apps. On the upside, photoshop is working again.
On the downside, I'm leaving on vacation next Tuesday, so you better hope that Minecraft doesn't release the next version in the next two weeks.
You should've probably did some research on it as thats why my mom hasn't upgraded is that photoshop doesn't work.

DecoCraft is really niddlyfiddly in terms of shapes and texture-wrapping. Doubtful I'll even attempt anything at that level, even if I can get the motivation & free time to do it.

So I did a thing.
The base fence models aren't really modified beyond UV remapping and removing UVlocks; this is similar to something that I once did in Optifine, but simply combined the texture files for it. It was mostly busywork, but since I had the urge to do some texturework lately, it seemed like a good time to tackle it. The only thing that's bugging the eff out of me is how they did the models--I go for clean cuts when buttressing up against a face, but the crossbeams for the models that only go partway (say, fence_n,) is quite literally chopped in half, with part of the beam still inside the post. I might go back and clean it up, but it's only a minor detail.
I also desire to modify the fence_inventory model, or at least give it a different texture so it isn't as derpy as it looks. Perhaps later.
Gates require a different set of UV mapping, but the procedure is still the same as here.
One thing to note: Netherbrick fences don't connect up to other fences, so I might do something a little different to the model to make it look more brick-y.

Well, yeah, at least with what I'm comfortable with so far. I still haven't touched gates yet, I need to sit down and really find the mapping for accurate texture work...
So...just as a random question...
About a year or mo ago I asked if sounds would ever be added to this resource pack and you said that's out of the question as you're no sound engineer.
If someone were to offer to do the sounds would take up the offer? Or do you like the classic Minecraft sounds as they are?
I'm no sound engineer, but in a while (A long while) I might be able to make a few sounds here and there in case you'd ever be interested.
No promises, but...eh...something to think about because I might make my own resource pack, and I'd want to go all out and changes models, sounds, textures, fonts, skies, names and all that stuff. So I'm trying to learn a few of those.
I mean, having the ghosts make ghostly noises in your Heavely pack would be cool, or magic(Bows) in your Fantasy pack make magicy noises would be even cooler.
Also, 1.9 seems to be giving a lot more freedom over sounds...whenever that gets here. >.>
If such a thing existed, I'd link it as a supplemental pack. That way it'd be easier to manage because you wouldn't have to rely on me to update things.
Thought I'd show off the world my brother and I are building. We both use Wolfhound, obviously. I tend to swap around a lot, but I think he pretty much uses default... I think.
He's building our airship. I'm replacing the animal pens with what might become a library.

Could anybody possibly customize the textures/models in the DecoCraft mod to go with this resource pack?

That's really nice looking.
I mean, classic vanilla resource packing is cool but fences always looked kinda derpy no matter what you do.
I love whatever it is you're doing!
Even though I'm not sure what it is...

Curse PremiumSoooo. My coworker might have gotten me hooked on Ark for a while. But we're good now. My dinosaur kick is over. I think.
What all have I missed?

Curse PremiumWell, they look really nice so far. I was going to work on the fantasy pack here and see if I could finish the mobs, but I had to study instead.
