Well, this isn't mine, but I have the owners official ''okie dokie'' to use this here as an example.
Both him and I were each doing our own thing, I was going for a spectral resource pack, and a magic being one as well...
And he was making a celestial/spacial recourse pack.
I think he went a bit crazy and went to a little bit more of a prism theme at times, but hey, it's his pack and it's cool looking.
(I'll put it in a spoiler due to the picture being rather large)
As you can see, regular stone is a cluster of stars, while ores are things like asteroids , nebulas, quazars and stuff like that.
Stone tools are constellations along with that one mob I put in....which it's spelling escapes me. (Don't make fun of me :C )
Bedrock and dirt, clay, tree wood, all that stuff is just for pure fun, and cool rainbows along with lava.
But as you can see,(While it's only half made) it's kinda cool to instead of going in a regular cave to go in a spacish place with stars, mining a nebula with a pick axe made of constellations.
Hey, anything you make I love, so I'm sure I'll love it whatever it'd be...
Yeah, not what I had in mind, but if you did what I had in mind the packs would lose that sense of surprise and touch of youto them.
Part of the reason I love your packs is because I love seeing what clever things you do that I'd have never thought of.

Hey, just wanted to say that I've loved your packs ever since I first saw textures by you (I think in JadedCat's mixpack), and I hope you have a speedy recovery from the accident/concussion. Car crashes are no joke. *hugs*
Hey all. So. Here's the deal. Earlier this month I was in a real bad car accident. I was rear-ended by someone not paying attention, we were on the highway, and my car spun out and rolled. The car is totaled, but I got out of there with a concussion and some muscular injuries in the neck, back, and shoulder. Unfortunately, the concussion means my time on the computer is severely limited and I'm having to use most of it for work. I can't play Minecraft at all. I played for about an hour with my brother a couple weeks ago and it left me extremely ill.
But I got to look around at all the decorating he did on his lava fortress and it was really awesome so I told him he could redecorate my house if he wanted to.
And he did.
So I logged on today for ten minutes to take a look.
He put plants in the entryway.
And added this window nook here with more flowers in the stairway up.
He made me a living room.
And put up paintings everywhere and put swords all over the walls.
More flowers on the front balcony.
He remodeled my kitchen.
Left a full suite of gold armor on display in my bedroom.
And he even finished the prismarine and sea lantern fountain outside.

Glad you're recovering, if slowly. Don't stress yourself--things are fine here. I've slowly been tooling around with adding proper 3D models for the doors in my version. Pictures will come sooner or later once I finish it up.

I'd be happy to see the pictures! I think I may try playing Minecraft later today. I'm still not 100%, but I think I'd like to give it another go.
Also, I'm updating my terms of use to make it a bit easier for other people to use this pack. It's not as important to me to keep it completely 100% in my hands anymore.
What can I do with this pack?
use it in a Youtube video, include a link back to Wolfhound
use it in a remix pack for redistribution, include credit and a link back to Wolfhound
alter textures for a remix pack for redistribution, include credit and a link back to Wolfhound
use (altered or unaltered) in a map for distribution, include credit and a link back to Wolfhound
use it for any of the above purposes without first asking permission
What can I NOT do with this pack?
claim it as your own work
upload it to websites as a texture pack. In other words, don't go to some website that distributes texture packs that I'm not already on and upload it yourself. I need to retain control of this pack so I can keep it current.
I've relaxed my standards on what you can and cannot do with this texture pack because I'm making this for the community and I want the community to be able to use it and benefit from it. There's no advantage other than ego-stroking to keep it exclusively to myself. Just don't claim it as your own.
And make sure you're following the TOS of anywhere you use it.
My only issue with the pack is the colored clay. I don't want any floral shiz I just want plain old boring colored clay. Can you possibly make that an option?
Such beautiful work, such a talented artist. That car accident was a tragedy and I am sorry to hear about it. Really goes to show how even a momentary lapse of attention can lead to tragedy. We need more life and beauty in the world, not less.

I don't do alternate textures anymore, as I've got too many textures to maintain already. You're more than welcome to swap ones in from another pack though, or alter the existing ones for your own use.

Yeah... it's been real frustrating to think all this has come out of a few seconds. Doctor says I've probably got another month before I'm all better.
FYI, sense this isn't a option in your poll I'll just say this to clear things up.
I voted for the Default tools but truthfully it was a pretty close one to the Fairy ones, if I had the choice to choose both I would have.
@shadow_accord
I don't believe so, but you could make your own were you to take textures from...ohhh...say the Heavenly pack and apply them to blocks for Thaumcraft or something...through the swarms of resource packs she has you can use them to "fill in the cracks" if you use mods.
I assure you, it'll be worth it!
Tell me if it works, maybe I'll try it sometime. JK
I'm pretty sure it'll work.
That is impressive!
I know how much stuff Natura has...*shutters* it's crazy...
I'd normally use Natura but it just over shadows all my World Gen mods.
(As in they only spawn in Vanilla biomes, so loads of new non-vanilla lowers the chance by a lot)
I use to do what you did with resource packs, but I stopped once all the Wolfhound updated to 1.8 just as I finished my 1.8 pack.

Heh. Yeah, I'm not exactly looking forward to doing BoP anytime soon. I'd rather do Tinker's Construct next, just as soon as I'm in a comfy spot with my other projects.
Is Tinker's construct even possible?
I mean...with all those parts and such...do you just have to make each parts texture and it automatically applies them on each other with the built tool?
Or will you have to do every combination?
Also, if you end up trying to make a version for the Twilight Forest ever you might want to save a lot of the Fairy pack things, but dunno if you'll cover that mod or not.
Mind if I have a link to the page you post the Wolfhound variations?
I'd love to see what other mods you have covered!

It's on a per-part basis. I always work with templates to reduce the amount of time I take on each material. ExtraTiCo seems to work off a similar concept; I merely just provide the template for it to use. We'll see.
I have thought about Twilight Forest--I've messed with the minotaurs and their boss, but that's it. Perhaps later on.
ATM, though, I've got a bit much on my plate. Here's a general 1.8 version of Wolfhound Modded. This can easily be slapped into any 1.7.10 instance. There aren't any model edits in this one; I'm not satisfied with what I have right now so far. Perhaps later, when I have plenty of time to work on it. Once I'm happy, I can actually do more mod textures; I've got my hopes for some good Steampunk ones to do technical mods with them.
I feel like I should toss the .psd files at you someday considering all the work you've done putting in mods, but my .psds are a) massive, disorganized, c) blatantly abusing my overpowered laptop's ability to process a bazillion layers in one file. But at the very least, would you like a permalink on the front page to your work?
Also... I'm considering allowing some extra people onto the realm I share with my brother here. Shoot me a message if you're interested. <-- this is addressed to anyone who is a regular around here.

Friendship is magic!
Though light and dark may be too similar to heavenly and dungeon to be worth the effort.

I added a poll, because I'm curious.
Does this support any mods?

I know I have most of a Natura set sitting around, it's just that I have it set to my Modded version specifically to avoid possible confusion issues.
Here's a copy. The only things I haven't/can't work out are the cotton and the Imp. Everything else is off Wolfhound assets.
Oh wow, dude!
That is impressive!
