*wipes finger across this topic* a thick layer of dust covers this thread... I guess that is explained by the previous commenters but, why no other people visit this :P?

Well, at least there's serious progress in the Natura texture set. Tentative release for this month, depends on what I can do. Tinker's Construct is up next, after that whatever gets chosen at random.
I absolutely adore your texture pack, and all of its variations. Kudos to you for doing such an amazing job on it. I have to ask though, would there happen to be a way to acquire a version of the Wolfhound texture pack for Minecraft version 1.6.4?

You can use a 1.7 pack on 1.6.4, it just won't have the blocks that 1.7 added.

In case you people haven't noticed yet... there are more Stained Clay textures and the Stained Glass textures have been filled out to include the other standard panels. Enjoy; I'll put out some plain Stained Clay textures for those not interested in fancy designs. (Like me.)

Technically not a double post, but I've gotten most of my mod-friendly and updated version of Wolfhound done for the forseeable future. The primary changes are:
taller pumpkin/melon stems (might take an another look at 'em down the road, but I'm satisfied)
"clean" stained clay blocks
modified torch and redstone torch to conform to Minecraft standard shapes (that means there's no wierd hole/shape right down the top, but Optifine CTM might give me more options since it's proven to work even on fences now)
speaking of CTM regular glass is now connected, dirt has a bit of random texture to it (grassy dirt sides kept getting biome colors all over it so none on that sadly,) and some critters have multiple skins!
snapshot updates if you wanted to play with them (new stone, slime blocks, and the useless but cute endermite)
extra stuff thrown in that were missing based on asset comparison
There's still more that needs to be done with it (for example, portal animations,) but I'm shelving this for now; I'd like to see if I can't work on my own mod code for now. I am, however, up for any suggestions on improvements that I can try while Thistle is still busy with her edumakactioning.
Quick Edit: I know the snapshot requires an updated enchanting GUI to handle Lapis Lazuli, but since snapshots are test versions, I'm not gonna do anything with that right now. You're smart enough to deal.

Okay, so I lied. I merely found a number of things that kept bugging me while playing Skyblock, so I added some more changes for consistency's sake. At this point, I'm seriously happy with it. All I did was fix some Optifine issues, modified the wood textures, and added some destroy textures (which while I'm not really happy with ATM, I can easily live with it, too. Leave that up to Thistle if she wants.)
There's bound to be a few minor updates later on, but Idon't see any need to update til 1.8 version. The download link has not changed, so go ahead and grab a fresh copy from above and overwrite the older one.
Okay. So last weekend I went to Mammoth Cave and some of the guys on the tour were talking about Minecraft (because what else do you talk about when you're 250 feet undergound?) and I was like... oh yeah... that game I did texture pack stuff for.
Part of my absence WAS school related. My marketing class was like... group work from hell. All the time. I think I was at Paneras every weekend working on stuff with my team.
But part of my absence was also my writing. I'm getting close to the point where I could get published. Maybe it'll take a few more years, or maybe I'll get lucky and it'll happen sooner. I've currently got an agent reviewing the full manuscript, which is promising. So a lot of my free time which was used to make textures is now being spent on writing and revising and sending out query letters.
So let's talk about Wolfhound. Do people still use it? How far behind is it with the current version?

I dunno who's still using it, but I think I'm favoring it over my own Dynasty (which, frankly, needs loads of work, IMO.) You only have a small handful of textures left that needs to be done (like portal block animation, for one.) The 1.8 update isn't a huge one for textures unless you want to do some fancy-schmancy 3D rendering code stuff for it.
I do know Jadedcat from FTB has a Wolfhound-Soartex pack called "Jadedcat Mixpack", but it kinda clashes IMO. I do have most of a Natura texture addition sitting right here, I just need to find the mojo to finish up the stray extra stuff right now.

Not difficult, just go to the customizer and poke the Angelic version button for a copy. That's pretty much a happier, shinier pack than what I would normally settle on.
Now for those Steampunk textures--I can really use those for modpacks...

Go ahead and get my Modded version up there, that's pretty much up to date so far. A few minor textures are still 16-bit, but I've left those for Thistle to do her magic on--I'm currently working on what updates I can do for 1.8 and some mod textures to finish. (I'm mostly done with Natura--cotton plants are a pain to do, however.)
I definitely still use Wolfhound classic pack and I know a couple other people who do as well. I'd absolutely love to continue using it for 1.8 eventually and see what all the new blocks and mobs would look like.

Depends of what Thistle does; there's some things that I can't do in her style very well, and thus I have to leave it to her to do when she feels like it.
That being said, thanks for the encouragement; I'm not *that* far from putting out a pre-release just to keep other people from asking too much.
fully functional customizer would help :P.

I also noticed a few more things that I missed on the second go-around, so I'll add those as well when I upload a new copy.
