Yay, the customizer is 1.4.6 ready. I've uploaded the new stuff.

So my dad just called me to tell me how he found a review of my texture pack on youtube. It was so sweet. My dad is pretty cool.

Added some new stuff for the fantasy pack, including the enchanting table. Also added some new wool, not for the fantasy pack, but pretty.

I think I shall work on the fantasy pack tonight. I don't have any party invites for New Years and I don't really care to go out even if I did, as it's snowing and I'm super-tired from having to get up super-early this morning. So I'm baking snack food for myself and spending the evening on my computer!

My efforts in depleting the booze I bought were profitable. Textures... not so much. I kinda got caught up chatting with another friend who was also celebrating New Years with a glass of everything he had in his house.

The thing about the mobs is that they're actually really time-consuming to texture, so I will resuse base patterns unless I have a really good idea for something different. So far I haven't gotten any really good ideas for the zombie, blaze, or creeper. And the creepers are such a weird monster... I liken them to shambling mounds from oldschool D&D, hence the vine-like pattern, and I'm really not sure what else to texture them as.

So, I hear what you're saying... but mobs and villagers (omg I hate texturing villagers) are just such a pain that unless I've got a really, REALLY, good idea, I'm unlikely to do more than variations on the existing bases.

They don't? Shoot. I shall have to fix that. Tomorrow though, just got back from a local writer's group meeting - it was pretty cool. They're putting one of my short stories in their next anthology, really looking forwards to seeing that in print.

Anyway. Tomorrow I'll take a look at those spider eyes. Night.

That's a lot of new blocks for one snapshot. *cringes*

My only consolation is that they're giving it to us early. And I'm sure my trauma is nothing compared to what modders go through.

I'm gonna go get sushi for dinner now. Sushi and sake!
