It's customisation versions, miss. I've customised Wolfhound a total of 3 times by now (not counting the flavours, of course) so I'm now on Wolfhound customised version 1.3. XD
I think I shall work on the fantasy pack tonight. I don't have any party invites for New Years and I don't really care to go out even if I did, as it's snowing and I'm super-tired from having to get up super-early this morning. So I'm baking snack food for myself and spending the evening on my computer!
Those fairy beds... Its absolutely awful that you have to decide between them... Can't I have them all? @[email protected]
I hope you had a good evening and happy new years! Were your efforts profitable?
My efforts in depleting the booze I bought were profitable. Textures... not so much. I kinda got caught up chatting with another friend who was also celebrating New Years with a glass of everything he had in his house.
I would really like to see more designs for some of the hostile mobs. Specifically the Zombie, Blaze, and Creeper. The Creeper has several choices already, but they are all more or less the same underlying pattern with different effects overtop. Also more choices for villagers would be fantastic. I do very much enjoy this texture pack, and use it quite often. Figured I'd just let you know what I'd like to see more of

The thing about the mobs is that they're actually really time-consuming to texture, so I will resuse base patterns unless I have a really good idea for something different. So far I haven't gotten any really good ideas for the zombie, blaze, or creeper. And the creepers are such a weird monster... I liken them to shambling mounds from oldschool D&D, hence the vine-like pattern, and I'm really not sure what else to texture them as.
So, I hear what you're saying... but mobs and villagers (omg I hate texturing villagers) are just such a pain that unless I've got a really, REALLY, good idea, I'm unlikely to do more than variations on the existing bases.
Also can't wait for variants of the cave spider to match up with the regular spider.
My ocd twitches every time I see the eyes don't line up. XD
I also like the elf villagers.
They don't? Shoot. I shall have to fix that. Tomorrow though, just got back from a local writer's group meeting - it was pretty cool. They're putting one of my short stories in their next anthology, really looking forwards to seeing that in print.
Anyway. Tomorrow I'll take a look at those spider eyes. Night.

Still don't understand why they didn't just give cave spiders their own separate glowing eye texture.

And it's just a snapshot! Who knows what else they have waiting to emotionally scar texture pack makers!

Curse PremiumI gotta say, your avatar and your signature are now very disconcerting together. I like it.
