Whee~ 1.4 and my favourite pack updated with lightning speed. Here comes another round of customising...
Oh and, just to clear things up, I don't use your main download or direct download of separate flavours. I would've but apparently Mediafire is blocked where I live, so I use the customiser instead. You don't know how thankful I am for packs that have customising options. XD

Mediafire is blocked... huh... I wonder how many others have that problem now. Man, I really wish PMC would let me upload my texture packs so Mediafire wouldn't be my only download option. Well, aside from the customizer.
Sometimes Planet Minecraft works as well - when downloads aren't directly from Mediafire or are just mirrors that leads to Mediafire links. But I don't think that many people with my nationality could be this crazy over the texture packs on this forum. I could be totally wrong, though.
...There seems to be a problem with the customiser at the moment. I can download packs but the file seems to be broken; it doesn't work when I apply the texture pack in-game and all it gives me are default textures. Some files are missing from the .zip file yesterday, and I did another test half an hour ago. Only text files were missing but it still doesn't work; other packs doesn't seem to have this problem.
This is absolutely incredible. I'm actually new to texture packs so this is only my third one, but I've been searching all over the interwebs for one recently and I can honestly say this is one of the best I've seen so far. Everything looks amazing and I really appreciate the detail you have for the paintings and beds... I bet so many people wouldn't even think about that, they're probably most concentrated on terrain, but it's a small detail that can make all the difference. You really did a beautiful work here and I can speak for myself when I say I REALLY appreciate it. Thank you so much! Only word of advice is to make the water move

Maybe it is just my minecraft, but the zombie textures and pig zombie textures are broken for me, and I used the customiser to create the texture pack
I was afraid of that... Minecraft doubled the size of the zombie and pig zombie textures and the customizer hasn't updated to realize that yet. I can't update those textures to the new ones until they do. What you can do to get around it is download the main pack here off the thread, and then copy the zombie and pigzombie textures from the main pack into your customized one. I'll keep an eye on the customizer in the meantime, hopefully the problem will get fixed quickly.

That's what I did, thanks ^^ great texture pack, i love it
Could you dumb it down for those of us who can't run high res textures?
There's a couple reasons I haven't made a 32x32 pack of this... I'm not very fond of what it looks like when I shrink it down and I've not got the time to tweak textures by hand. But the overwhelming reason is I just don't need yet another pack to upkeep. Keep the current ones up to date takes up a lot of my time already, and I don't really want to add to it. You are more than welcome to resize textures for your own use though.

Part of me really wants to like this pack, but on the other hand...
Some of the textures seem too blurry for my tastes, and the edges on some of the textures are too sharp. I'm not sure how much of the sharpness is just due to the pack's resolution, though.
Some of the textures (Stone, Sand, Endstone) seem like they should tile, and they kind of do, but... In a weird way, if that makes sense.
I think more CTM could help, with random textures, as well as textures next to specific blocks (Stone next to stone bricks looks particularly jarring, and cobwebs look weird when they're not next to a block on each side)
CTM could also help with creating textures for specific blocks/faces, like the trap doors (the trap doors have the top texture rotated in a different direction, for some reason.) and Fences/netherbrick fences.
Other than that, it looks really good, and I really like the paintings.
First let me start out by saying i love this texture pack, nothing else measures up to it! However, i updated to 1.4.2 and now my dirt is on fire A bit of technical help would be awesome! I am sort of new to minecraft, and very new to the forums and texture packs. My blocks of dirt have 2 little squares of fire and i can see through blocks by looking through them. Although this is kind of neat it makes my world look ugly Thanks in advance! <3Mary

I've experimented with CTM before, and aside from the really, really easy stuff I probably won't be using it much. I know a lot of other texturers are, but I prefer to just make new textures rather than tweak and tweak my existing ones. That's why I'm so bad about going back and fixing stuff, I love to create, not so much refine.

You need to use either MCPatcher or Optifine.

I see, that's perfectly reasonable
