I had downloaded the fairy pack as a base, and then changed little things like the mushrooms. I'd loved how the giant brown mushroom was purple with the gems in it, and the giant red mushroom was blue! The normal red mushroom, though, was a yellow color so I'd recolored it to a cute shade of baby-blue :3. I had also replaced the oak/birch/pine logs with the standard ones instead of the fairy logs with the swirrelies(sp)/faces. The jungle fairy log tiles very well, and doesn't look odd, but for some reason the oak/pine/birch were distracting for me :\. I'd also recolored the gold armor body/help into a pretty blue/silver combo .
I run a RP server with a "High Fantasy" atmosphere, and for me your textures compliment our world PERFECTLY!
My leetle changes:
I don't know if anyone had this problem, but for me the swirrely ice had a single row of pixels that had a higher opacity than the rest of the block, and it created lines. I feexed.
Lapis block with silver insets instead of gold :3
Screenies! Sorry if they look too dark. It was nighttime on the server when they were taken :3
Thank you so much, Thistle, for the work you've done on this pack. I truly love it!
Hrm... since the last time I downloaded the pack, the achievement icon in the upper right had to be disabled. White/yellow text on an extremely pale background is not pleasing to the eyes. :\
However, I'm going absolutely Crazy over the new paintings. I really liked the tree, but a painting of an archmage is the perfect decoration above the fireplace in my enchanting room. I still can't decide which 4x2 I like better. Oh, and the Dungeon sign is now a really nice wall decoration when left blank. >:3
Winged bow with bodkin arrows looks awesome! Too bad I'm using magic mods and have no need of one right now.
And... OMG finally a blank stone slab! I like the rabbits on top of a decorative pedestal, but I also like to make floors out of stone slabs, so...

Your post made me do the happy dance. Quietly. Because I'm at my parent's house - my AC done broke and isn't getting fixed for a few days.
Could you snag a screenshot of the achievement thing you're talking about? I'm not sure what window it is and would like to see if its anything I can fix.
Oh, and here's the original of the archmage painting, in case you're curious.

In the textures, it's the bottom part of the png for the achievement GUI. As you can see, it's horribly light for having white and yellow text... and the darkness of the Dungeon textures doesn't help. Actually, I think the GUI as a whole is much too light for my tastes. I really liked the darker, ornate look of Thistle. But it's mostly the blinding brightness of the achievement popup on an otherwise dark screen that's paining me. >_<
I wonder, though, if it might be possible to ever so subtly brighten the Dungeon smooth stone texture? I prefer to play on Moody brightness, but the stone is just too black for that to be possible.
Alright, dungeon webs, monster spawner, half stone, and a couple other textures uploaded to the customizer, along with a lighter version of the black stone. Remind me tomorrow to finish tweaking the textures that use that black stone as a backdrop.
If it wouldn't be too much bother, could we get the newest stuff from the customizer in a different download. I have been unable to download from the customizer for the last 4 days.
So I've been asked to do a tutorial for how I do textures. I got one done, probably not going to keep the texture, but I'll see how the tutorial turned out and upload it from there.
Nevermind. My software just rolled over and died. No tutorial. I'm gonna go play Borderlands...

Curse PremiumI just uploaded another fairy update - this finishes out the terrain.png. Terrain is done. Yay!
You're more than welcome to come check us out, Thistle. Our server is greylist so you're free to wander around without being whitelisted :3.
I remember several months ago a new texture artist posting a thread asking if she should continue her work. Look at you now!
Congratulations

Curse Premium42, thank you! I've been having so much fun with this. And your new pack! I haven't seen this! Looks awesome.
