That's what I like to use and make, and since I'm not really trying to garner a following, I've got that freedom.
The "simplicity phenomena".... Interesting. Kind of just commented based on my observations on how these things work. Never heard of that exact classification.
The part of the comment above is really admirable. It's nice that you're in it for the art. The thing is:
If you put so much time into all of this, and your goal isn't a mass following, the rationality behind sticking
it out/continuing your work begins to sway.
I have to apply this logic to my own art. I've been working on textures, but my main interest is in songwriting. I started seriously writing about a year and a half ago, but I've been interested in it since I was 10. Being in High School now, I have only so much time to attract the attention needed to create something out of what I truly enjoy. College is around the corner and finishing tenth grade soon, I must soon show off my talent in this personal hobby.
Applying this to the topic at hand, time is crucial. Don't kill yourself on the pack, and while this isn't
exactly what I'm implying you're doing/you'll do, It's always nice to keep in the back of your mind. Especially considering the wildness and plethora of your ideas.

Fun talk, now sleep.
I first noticed the simplicity thing in my DA account. As I got better at writing, my stories got more involved and longer, and less people read them. Those that did really liked them and I've got two Daily Deviation features on my account now, but if I don't get that feature, I get fewer views than my old writing. People are reluctant to make an investment in something they aren't familiar with, so if they do, they go for what is simple and easy, as that will take the least effort to learn in case it turns out to be a waste of their time.
If I may make a recommendation on college out of personal experience? Don't go to school for your art. Keep it as a hobby, maybe even take some classes or minor in it, but the moment it starts being frustration - ditch that minor. I did that with my writing, had a creative writing minor for two years, and it left me so burnt out and frustrated that I swapped my minor to business and never looked back. I still write, but I keep it as my personal project. I'll be self-publishing here sometime this year once my cover art is ready (I've got a much better artist than me doing it) and it's been a lot of fun to work on it. Sometimes making your career your hobby is a mistake. Find what you enjoy so that you can do it every day, and major in that.
And don't worry about the popularity of this pack. Between Mediafire and PlanetMinecraft, it's got 60k downloads. It's popular, just quietly so.
While I'm waiting on this pack to reach 100% completeness, I'm enjoying Thistle. Any chance of taking a wee break on Wolfhound long enough to add Thistle textures for the new wood planks? :<
This is very nice. I think your talent of adding a bunch of detail, but knowing when to stop is a great skill. I will definitely be using this pack a lot

Those should exist - what download are you not seeing them in? I see they're not in the customizer, I'll add them real quick. Are they missing anywhere else?

I dunno, I always use the customizer.
Thanks for the fix! I can't wait for more eyeballs in Wolfhound. >

Curse PremiumAnd obviously the eyeball, snake and phoenix door styles are equally sensational in demonstrating
your artistic skill.

Curse PremiumThank you! I had a lot of fun with the eyeball door. I don't know who would use the corruption pack, but dang if it isn't a ton of fun to make.
