Hey guys, I'd like a bit of feedback here. I'm trying to think up an idea for my Wolfhound gui, and I was thinking of doing something to fit in with how I did the paintings - a nice sort of pencil drawn feel. This is my rough draft. Thoughts?
I really like the paper GUI idea, I think it looks amazing. Maybe you could even sketch things in like diagrams and recipes, and blueprints. IDK, just ideas.
Two Asian textures in the customizer, as well as a handful of GUIs. Sand and grass. The sand looks a bit odd in deserts, but I think it'll look good for your rock garden creations.
It is on the customizer then. I doubt I'll get any textures done today, as I'm headed out to help my Bible study group move furniture and then I'm going to a midnight showing of Avengers.
Wow, your work is truly amazing! I love the detail you put into it, and I envy your drawing skills. I can't wait to see what it'll look like when everything is done. Have a good time watching the Avengers!

...you lucky son of a-... well have fun, unfortunately I will have to wait till sat. for the Avengers, but until then, I can enjoy all of these incredible new textures!
This is a very lovely texture pack..
Nice work! I like the high level of detail on the ornaments.
Anyway, because I like this pack, I made a showcase of it.
I'm a YouTube partner with 3200+ subscribers, so maybe this will create some more attention for this texture pack.
Here is the video - I hope you like it.
Sweet beans! Thank you, I'll be adding this to the front page.
They all seem like completely erotic designs. I kind of like the 4th sand, and
I'm convinced that I'm not a fan of the corrupt second version and that's not cause its poorly textured, but because it strays too far away from my safe place with normality.
Fantastic work as always. The amount of time these probably took up
would have killed me.
I am highly, highly medicated right now. So that may account for some of how these sands turned out. The fourth one especially was too surreal for me in-game, and I'm trying to decide between it and the third as the official fairy sand. The corrupt one... yanno, you might just want to steer clear of the corruption stuff in general. The earth is infected with bleeding tumors, the sand is growing scales, that sort of thing. I'm going to attempt to incorporate eyeballs into the grass when I work on this again tomorrow.
Following grass I would delve into the realm of log textures. I have to admit that
your current ones have to be some of your "worst" work.
The top part seems unfinished and the side normal texture is just too funky for me.
Maybe it's the colors, i'm unsure.
And this might be a weird tangent, but here's what I'm delving into:
I honestly think the more simple, but detailed your textures are, the larger the crowd
you'll attract. People don't like to try things out of their comfort zone: A general
rule of life. Too abstract forms of work or art can't turn people away most often-ly.
It's a shame some people have such genius, but strange ways of thought, in other
words your pack deserves a greater following for all you put in, but won't receive it unless you simplify your work.
Yeah, I'm familiar with the simplicity phenomena. You see it in writing too, if you ever post stuff on places like deviantArt. But personally, I feel there's plenty of packs out there that stick true to the Minecraft theme and keep their textures generic and simple. I want to do the eclectic stuff, the stuff that really changes the entire feel of the game. That's what I like to use and make, and since I'm not really trying to garner a following, I've got that freedom. And hopefully with this mass expansion I'm working on, there will be a good enough mix in there to cover the simpler textures too.
