There are a lot of options missing and it's not very user friendly, but feel free to start using the new customizer. Let me know if you find problems with it.
I really hate to sound nitpicky or kind of like I'm requesting change when talking directly to texture artists.. but I have to say it.
The background for the GUI in, at least the original Wolfhound, is way too bright. I find it hard to distinguish items a lot of the time, sometimes it's impossible to really even see them. I hope I'm not the only one that experiences this. Even through hours of play time with this texture pack, it's really hard for me to enjoy it because I'm not able to see what is what with a lot of items.

I LOVE YOUR MOUSEOVER TEXT.
...Although the download doesn't work. I mean, it doesn't work for me, at least. The file download lasted about a second; the file itself has an absurd size of two kilobytes (the Wolfhound .zip files I've downloaded before were around fourteen thousand kilobytes each) and contains nothing but empty folders. And of course the textures are all on Minecraft default when I try to use it. I, um, have no idea what's going on. >_>
hear The mouseover text is why this is taking so long to build, glad to hear its worth the effort! So what you are seeing means that something is going horrbly wrong during the process ofadding files to the zip and the code is just saying NOPE and bailing. I'll have to look at it tonight when I get home and do some debugging...

Okay. It's working for me, which means you're picking different textures than I am. Are you using mostly default textures? Actually... let me know what mobs you picked. I bet the problem is there. That one has been a pain. In the meantime, I'll try and get some sort of error message together so it'll actually tell us what file it bombed on.

Yes, they're like 90% default or more at a wild guess. E.g., the only items I selected which weren't default in the food section were the bread and cooked porkchop (I chose oat bread and pork shank respectively). But I'll get to the mobs. The default mobs in the new customiser were all the last one in the options for some reason, which was why my choices were all not on default.
EDIT: To summarise, all of my choices were for the normal, vanilla wolfhound except for the pig and spider. *facepalm* Can't believe I only noticed that after typing out everything.
For the Black Cat, I chose the first, the black tuxedo cat.. I chose the tabby cat for the Red Cat and...I'll try making this easier to figure out.
Siamese Cat - A siamese cat; Chicken - A white chicken; Cow - A black and white cow; Creeper - Vines and explosions; Enderman - Traced with runes (it's actually not traced with runes. Its body is plain black. Maybe an error with the mouseover text?); Enderman eyes - Two eyes, purple; Blaze - Fire! (the orange one since I noticed the mouseover text for both are the same); Ocelot - Dawwwwww; Pig - A plain pig; Mooshroom Cow - Mushrooms!; Skeleton - Crowned with iron; Slime - Gooshy; Spider - Black widow ('Avoid the fangs' was too scary for me XD); Spider Eyes - Goes with the black widow; Iron Golem - Don't mess with the villagers; Wolf - Puppy!; Wolf Angry - Puppy!; Wolf Tame - Puppy!; Zombie - Braiiiiins...; Zombie Villager - Poor sap (the female version); Farmer - Skirts are cool.
...Well. Wasn't that long.
I can provide my selections for the other textures if you need them. >_>
Uggggh. There should have been something on the customizer page itself to tell us what was going on. Apparently my code isn't working though. Well, I'll try a couple things here, but not tonight. I really need to try it on another computer and see if it's just my environment that's working or not. I seem to have that problem a lot. My coworkers call me a code hoarder because I take forever checking stuff in and then I forget files they need so stuff doesn't work on their machine and my computer is the only one that'll run stuff correctly.
It's just difficult to debug is all. Typically the zip fails because one of the images isn't right, but I don't see any broken links there so I'm not sure quite what is going on.
I'm also writing tonight. I love to write but I haven't worked on my stuff in a little bit, so I'm making time for that tonight. Unfortunately, I just read an article on the Boston marathon bombings and it had pictures, so now I'm crying again. I know better than to do that...
Okay. Stupid question but it just occurred to me. Are you hitting submit, THEN download? I haven't pulled the creation of the zip and the downloading of the zip into the same action cause I suck.
O_O Um. I just clicked download. *facepalm* Was that the problem?
EDIT: I tried clicking submit and then download, and ended up with a file 1,360 kilobytes in size. WinRAR reported an error I can't really translate (my system is in Chinese) when I opened the .zip file; it was the same one that showed up sometimes when I tried to download from the original Wolfhound customiser. It appears I got numerous textures for blocks, items, and several mobs, but the rest are missing...>_>

The customizer is awesome so far. i haven't used it actually, i'll wait to some more textures options. anyway, the brand new textures and mouseover text are as cool. you have any idea on how much textures are left?
Your naming scheme is pretty simple, isn't it? I bet if you gave us a template, we could match textures to code to mouseover text. All you'd have to do is look it over before implementing it.
Hahah, no problem. Glad it got resolved for yah. I don't have any control over the mechanics of the game itself, I only change the graphics around.
Sadly, the up and working customizer hasn't updated in a long time and I don't think it keeps a change log. I'm still working on mine.
Course you can use your own font. Just so long as its for personal use, doesn't bug me none.
I'll see about a smaller banner at some point... focusing on getting my customizer together right now though.

That's...weird. I think I'll try downloading this again.
...Nope. Same result.

Things under "items" that are not auto-selected: Brick, Comparator, Hopper, Nether Quartz, Redstone, Reeds, Spider Eyes
Beacon image [under redstone] is broken.
Things under "Redstone" that are not auto-selected: Comparator, Redstone
Things under "stone and ore" that are not auto-selected: Brick
There may have been stuff before the items section that I missed, but hopefully this explains why some stuff was missing, and maybe what's up, too? :3
