So I've made my texture pack, everything is all nice and dandy, but I was wondering that if an update comes out with new items and whatnot, how will I update my textures to accomodate those new items? Will the items just appear in my texturepacks folder and I can edit them?
Ive played with an out of date texture pack before, and all that happens is their is white squars where the new textures should be. Just copy over the updated files from .jar into the texture pack folder, edit in your custom textures, and you will have the new textures in ur texturepack, and you can change them if you want.
