This is not the section to submit something that took 2 minutes to make. Not even close.
This is the section to share projects that took you weeks of work, sparing no inch of detail. Things that are original.
All I did was open photoshop and swipe the sharpen tool around a few times and lots of people use the default textures for their textures
No, people use default as a background for textures they haven't done yet. WIP* packs use this so they don't have blocks you cannot tell the difference between, so it can be used in it's unfinished state.
Any pack that actually does use default textures, or slightly edited default textures, are quickly shunned, embarrassed, and disposed off.
If I did the same thing with my original texture pack that I made would that make you feel better? To see my original texture pack click my signature
That pack is no better. Simple packs are overdone and flat-out lazy. They are shunned.
I'm going to go ahead and say to stop "trying," because you trying is the equivalent of me shitting, and I'm hardly considered good at texturing. Just stop, don't click that "Start New Topic" button again, save us all the time of these effortless packs, and allow that pack at the bottom of Page1 to stay on Page1.
Wtf. This is a disgrace to art in general. You're lack of even caring has led to it just being random noise filters over default. You disgust me. Make something that you actually put effort into and made by youself instead of filtering somebody elses work, or get out of the forum.
Dear Adajak, This is not so much a texture pack as an over-used special effect.
I do admit that the use of polychrome effects in art has a long and proud history, and the effect is interesting to look at, but this is not how this crazy old Hippie sees the world.
2/10, Please put more effort into you work before handing it in!
As for the rest of you: Kindly calm down and please remember your Manners when you post a response to someone's work, no matter how much you may loathe the work in question...

No, leave, and let it die. Don't bump it, don't do anything relating to it, unless it's letting it die.

I'd just like to say - You two are my personal heroes now.
I'm sick and tired of these BS effortless packs that flood the forum.
...But that's just my opinion.
My DeviantART, requests welcome.
