Just a quick update: I am currently updating it to 12w40b (sorry there hasn't been an update in a while).
Judging by the votes/poll, people like the "Experimental" Version. I will keep this from now on.
Finally, I am only going to update the snapshot versions from now until 1.4. This means the 1.3.2 version of the pack is going to stay the same, as in any new textures will only be found in the snapshot version (sorry badly worded).
Just because it's simple/cartoony doesn't mean you can't have original designs and colors. Experiment! Be creative! I assure you, the right colors can make things look so much better then they were before, even if you don't add shading or detail.

About to update thread and upload new version, quite a lot of minor and major changes so please read changelog
It's flat, bland and the colours make me want to tear my eyes from the sockets of which they reside in (wow that was some real awesome exaggeration) lets start with the designs of the textures, BORING, it looks nothing like a cartoon, add some details, highlights, simple packs have them... Now the colours are even worse, there very dull and don't seem like cartoony colours, cartoons have bright vibrant colours that catch the attention of the viewer (most cartoons have these sorts of colours)
My final verdict 0/5 it's dull, it's flat and doesnt appeal to me at all, I'd try improving on your texturing skill

Hi! Just registered account to say here this texture pack is the first one i really liked!
Can you please take a closer look at emerald and lapis lazuli ore? Isn't it strange that they lack this juicy border?
Try to make a smooth stone wall with ore blocks in it, these two ores looks a bit different than others
because they have plain grey background instead of smooth square.
And i also find it difficult to distinguish cobblestone and gravel, but thats not really an issue i think.
As for other stuff, its just beautiful. I never thought it possible to paint such a simplistic look with that quality. Thanks a lot!

That'll be in the next update I'll upload that soon, I've just changed a few textures slightly like the leaves on the fast video setting.By soon I mean tomorrow or the day after.
