Last update: 01-16-12 "GUI and Item Update + 1.1 compatability"
Greetings everyone.
After many months of enjoying some of the great texture packs this community has produced, I decided to start work on my own. My basic idea was to create textures that transformed the Minecraft world into a shiny land where everything from the rocks, trees, dirt and even the grass was made out of reflective glass blocks.
After about 2 weeks of work I've completed all of the terrain textures, and many of the interactive items. At this point I decided to go ahead and share my work so far.
So without further ado, I present GlassCraft v1.3.
...This is actually really nice! For a minute there I thought I'd be looking at yet another boring simple pack, but I really like what you've done here. Great work!

Thanks for the feedback. Next update I plan on changing the armor textures, but that will have to wait until my inspiration recharges. Most of the pack was completed in the last three days, and I've pretty much burnt myself out for at least a short while.
Starting to plan out what I want to do with the armor sets. In the meantime I was looking over all the finished textures and the book shelves really stuck out as lacking the same level of attention the rest of the blocks had.
So I went ahead and reworked it from the ground up.
Diamond armor is mostly done, just a bit of tweaking here and there to where I'm happy with it. I've got the basic design for Chain armor worked out in my head as well, and should have that completed as well.
I expect I'll have version 1.2 available by the coming weekend.
Editing the opening post with a download link to GlassCraft v1.2. Edit: Opening post updated with 1.2.
Here's a complete list of what texture files have been changed.
terrain.png (changed bookshelves, cracked stone bricks, stone slab side texture, and slightly changed wooden planks, pumpkins, and the enchanting table)
particles.png (smoke, hit, water, heart and note changed)

I hope you enjoy it. Any feedback, suggestions or questions will be quite welcome.
Also, thanks to Kab's Texture Showcase Map for the excellent map pack and screenshot set up.
I agree...nice job!
I suppose it's a little shiny.

Diamond next.
Should I make a design for Chain as well in this pack?
Great job.

It takes a total idiot to go up to the dragon, and say hello to it.
Chain is done.

Thanks. Yeah, the blocky grid was kind of how I imagined it from the start. I think if I ever do another pack I'll try going in a different direction.
Next update I'll be editing all the GUI files.
One of my friends said the exact same thing when I showed him it, even though I wasn't even thinking about Mario when making it.
Also redesigned the character skin.
