I know that this is not the right place to post this but I dont know where else I could go. How do you make a texture pack? I really want to make one for an adventure map that I am making but I do not know how. can anyone tell me or send me to a video that will tell me.

Go to the .minecraft/bin/minecraft.jar and take the terrain.png from there using WinRAR or 7zip. Either that, or you could download a vanilla terrain.png from the internet. Then use GIMP or Photoshop to edit the terrain.
