Finished it! there's a bug where one book leans and sharply cuts off into another book if there's two adjacent bookshelves (It doesn't happen with three or more). I'm not sure how to fix it, so maybe one of you guys can. Also, this is all your guys work, I just copied and pasted where necessary. The only distortion is where I used the smudge tool. I'll try to find a way to upload it. If worse comes to worst, I will just email it to one of you guys.

I'm partly done with the spider, but does anyone know exactly where the abdomen parts lie? I don't want to be making fur that ends up going the wrong direction. IF no one knows I guess I'll try to guess.

Is this where I admit I don't know what CTM is for?
It's part of OptiFine that makes the textures of glass, sandstone, bookshelves and chests connect without the block borders.
, so it looks like a single pane of glass.

Hmmmmm.... this may be something I need to investigate. Where in the texture pack would the file need to be placed so that it works? And any chance you know where in OptiFine that I can turn it on?

In OptiFine, it can be found in Video Settings > Quality > Connected Textures. Just put the ctm.png file in the texture pack zip folder.

Are you referring to the ones in the customizer? If so, you might try my variant out. Here:
Do you like that better? (If not, any suggestions for improvements?)
Those look fantastic, I actually prefer them to the other Hieroglyphs.
Edit-- Got it on imgur. http://imgur.com/9CWcF
No offence, but there is already ctm support...
What??? Ugh!!!!I'll try my hand at an enderman skin then. But was my attempt still good?

I'll give it a try. No promises though.
EDIT: That glass is going to be really hard to make a ctm.png for, as the cross lines don't match up.
It's modeled on the default cake but instead of whatever type of cake that was, it's been changed to a butter cake because they're delicious. Anyways:
And the bit for the terrain.png (the full cake in the bottom-right can be put into items.png as well):
Despite what it looks like there is a lot of texture in the icing!!
